Did anyone play the WE demo?

The difference is basically response times. And it's clear that the WE demo is of a later build than the pes demo so that's a good sign.

The response difference is minimal, I think people are hyping too much about it. Both demos are terrific though.

a long while...
but yeah i got the WE demo (trying to navigate the psn signup
in japanese was fun) and it doesnt seem really different, a little
quicker if anything

yeh definitely, went back to pes after WE and when your player traps the ball it takes him ages to pass and there is a delay from when you press the button.

Waaat I love those songs from 2008. Football soccer all around the world. All I wanna do is kick it. I want to go, go for the gold. They're catchy and really suit a footy game. Only wack song is the ricky dicky one.
Fifa always has good tunes but they usually have nothing to do with footy and they're just tunes you'd find on the radio. These days you can load your own tunes anyways so providing the latest greatest tunes is kinda a moot point.

Lol they were funny at the start i guess but when your sitting doing a ML or just playing match after match and that song repeats and repeats itself, it gets annoying and my friends even come in and are like "wtf is that crap" lol, it tears me apart inside :unsure:
And so i turn the music off completely, then i go into a match and its during highlights etc coz it used to play highlight music, gah!!
As long as the 360 can do it then its all good!

Whats the difference between Winning Eleven and Pro evo? as far as i knew they were exactly the same just a different name for release in Japan?
If the demos are really different does that mean the final PES game will be different or will the final PES game be exactly the same in terms of ingame as WE?
Im concerned that PES10 wont be as good as WE10

I think whats happened is that yes, they are pretty much the same game, but Winning Eleven's demo is based on a more complete version of the game than our PES demo.
I'm downloading it right now but it's taking avery long time.
ah right ok that sounds good then, promising. I play on PC and can you download WE demo for PC or only on xbox and ps3 platforms?
tbh i still way prefer the PES 10 demo to fifa 10 so if the WE demo is better thats brilliant.
I dont get fifa, i have the recomended system requirements but on my PC it looks and plays like shit, any other PC users found this?
PES still plays best for me, loking forward to final release.

Well your friends just suck then! :tongue: I'd often catch my gf humming or singing to the tunes of 2008 at the time :laugh:. She does also for 2009 but not as often. 1 time when we went out for a kick about, as we were just doing some keep up she inadvertently blurted out football soccer all around the world, 2 years after I stopped playing the game :laugh: it was pretty cute.
I guess it's just my music taste but for me Konami's been doing a good job with music since 2008. I just wish I never heard the ricky dicky. It still haunts me every now and then :ninja:

Its funny coz its true! :w00t They are all in favour of FIFA these days, understandable coz its easier.
I introduced them to the WE demo though and they like that
So Konami's goal is to "Convert the Nation" :laugh:

Winning eleven's demo is certainly a lot better than PES. But the passing system is still light years behind FIFA.

I just did Barzil v Italy 3 times in a row and lost them all 0-1.
They were some of the best pes games ive ever played. The last game was funny yet annoying. early on I cut the ball back to Pato who was 1.5 yards out and had 90% of the goal to aim at only for Buffon to pull off the save of the decade and leaving me shouting "how the fuck did he miss!". Then i put a chip through ball into Robinho from an angle and he headed it first time 8 yards out past Buffon and into the bar. I couldnt stop smiling in disbelief. There was so much excitement, so much was happening all the time, goal mouth chance 1 after the other at each end. Finally in stoppage time i thought "Yes, i havnt lost" only to conceed a penalty 0.1 seconds later. I saved it! Yes ive got away with it! Only for pirlo to knock in the rebound. Straight after i thought the ref was gonna blow the whstle but he didnt. I gave kaka the ball out wide and he put an amazing ball in seeing as he was like 30 yards out from the edge of the box and it bent into robinho. Slow motion it looked like he was gonna hit it. He did and BANG. Straight off the underside of the bar with that being the last kick of the game. Unbelievable, i couldnt believe the chances in that game.
