DLC surprise

Hello everyone

Today I installed the new DLC. To my surprise (horror) all my team editing and players (bundesliga) got messed up (the names stayed changed, but looks, cleats and nationalities were changed). I'm currently fixing the problem, but that was hours of work down the tube. I'm assuming the next DLC will come out in February, how can I prevent from happening then?

It's not really a surprise, it happens every year after every data pack

The only way around it is to export any teams you have created before each data pack, then import them back in afterwards.

20 at a time, but you can copy them to a USB & store them on a computer then do another 20.

what happened to the ability to not implement the DLC; thought I remembered having to hit the triangle button to go forward, or ignore it and not make any changes

Yeah PES 2012 had that option, but it has never been included since

i am so confused. downloaded the update but your OF squads are not overwritten. So no Paddy McNair on United, James Wilson still wearing 47 instead of 49, etc. How do we get that in there
and if I do will it then overwrite your kits?

For some stupid reason they didn't add anything that has been added via live updates over the last few weeks.... Why only Konami know :erm:

So does importing trams really work. I have Pte patch on dlc 2 and the German teams are all over the place and missing 4 new teams.
Not sure importing will help.

Yeah it works as long as you export the teams before the adding the data pack then import them back in afterwards

Edited data lost since the update

Hey wondering if anyone can help.

I've spent quite a bit of time editing players to make my own league, but since the update it seems a lot of the data has been lost. Player appearances and nationalities have been reverted to default settings, is there anyway of recovering this data?

Really frustrating, especially if it's gonna happen after every update.

Rosters & nationalities are always defaulted although no appearances should have been defaulted.

The only way to prevent this is to export the teams before any Konami updates, then import them back in afterwards

Sorry about that, didn't see this thread when I posted.

Thanks for the advice, sounds like there's no recovery possible this time, but at least I've got a way round it for next time.
