Someone knows how to make the drogba's trick on PES 2008 ( in some videos on inet i saw to henry and cristiano ronaldo doing it, but without explanation)

Are you talking about the trick where he changes direction and flicks the ball behind one leg?

I think it's a simple as running with your player using the sprint button (R1[PS3] or RB[Xbox]) then changing direction diagonally. It only works with a few players.

i think it is just a matter of when you have a player like Henry and are running if you change direction fast he will just do it himself.

Yes diving has been implemented into the game!! ;)

As for the switching direction hting, i thought it did it automatically with a few players (C.Ronaldo for example), but i'm not really sure tbh.

I did it twice with Henry in the "same dribble". It does it automatically with a few players who has the right skills and stats. (Someone has made a thread about the players who can do it - Heelflicker or something...).

I found it a bit too effective against the computer. I left 4 defenders from Juventus (and they aren't the worst defenders in the game) standing looking like sitting ducks and had a freeway towards goal. I didn't score though 'cause I got so surprised having so much space!!!!:blush:

it's not related to the stats, it's a hard coded trick. ie, only players whom konami has invisibly put a "heel flicking" star can do it. you can not do it with edit mode.

the way to do it is when you are dribbling at normal speed, press 90 degrees away from the players favoured foot and r1 at the same time.

for example, if you are dribbling with a right footed player from left to right, that would make press up + r1 (or whichever button you have assigned "dash" to). he will do it. there is a thread about it, "heel flickers". the players i found so far ho can do it are ronaldo(from milan), drogba, c. ronaldo, cafu and henry. and nope, ronaldinho can't do that.

also it can't be done on the ps2 version. pc, ps3 and xbox players can do that, i think.

so it's not random. you can do it every time if you practice ; )
