E3 - news on PS3, 360 and wii

I’m sure some of you know about e3, it’s the place where all the big information about games/consoles information gets released, and this e3 has started, and as you’d expect theirs big news.

So first Playstaion 3 has been revealed and it’s going to be a whooping $500 and $600 :shocking: for the 2 different versions, and let me tell you the $500 one losses enough stuff (a 20gb hardrive, instead of the 60gb, no hdmi cable to watch blu-ray films in HDTV quality with, and no wireless router inside, with yet no sd/memory stick reader inside)). And it don’t look like you can buy all the things later and add it nicely like with 360.
Plus we live in uk so the conversion means the price should be 280 pounds and 335 pounds, but for games console it never works like that , so it will likely drop at about £350 for the crippled ps3 and £450 for the good version. Which is expensive.

But there is good news! PS3 will be out in the Europe in around the middle of the November. (There is a specific date but I can’t remember it)
However some good games shown for PS3 like final fantasy 13, metal gear solid 4,Virtua fighter, Tekken 6, and heavenly sword.

Also some big news for 360 owners, GTA is now EXCLUSIVE for 360, and will be out by October, and yes that’s right for, Xbox 360. Also PRO EVOLUTION 6 will make its DEBUT on 360, and be the first next generation version!
Thers some other games but these announcemnts killed it for me!

Also the dual shock is back for the 3rd time, but this time they will have motion sensors like the Nintendo wii (yes the wii, or formerly Nintendo revolution) remote, but there is NO rumble shock!

Revolution or the wii, has this generation grapohics :shocking: and some diffrent control pad which just got stolen by sony :tongue:
However its gonnna be really cheap and should be like youre second console with a diffrent games. New mario, zelda, and metroid prime confirmed for any who care.

That's the worst news I've heard all day! I borrowed a 360 for a few days and I'm not at all impressed with it.

Oh wait lol, my bad, it seems like the gta thing was a mistake. its NOT EXCLUSIVE, and the writer just got caught up in his excitement, its that it will be out on 360 the same day as ps3 one, BUT will have updates that are exclusive to xbox.

Also, he made another mistake, its out on october...........of 2007, so no new gta soon :(

So if you only like sony machines no need to panick, ill amend my post later.

I heard that the Xbox 360 released the same games for the Xbox too. People started complaining because the Xbox 360's versions were exactly the same as the Xbox's version only 10 pound dearer.

yeah the excluive thing was all hype, and the popular sites going crazy, and chatting nonscene, gettin me all hyped, it was blew way out of proprtion, but haha, i cant be arsed to change it.

I don't think I'm gonna get the PS3 then. It's gonna have to be Xbox360. the main reason I haven't got a 360 yet was the price; I was waiting for it to come down. But if the PS3 is gonna be £350 at the cheapest, then I'm not gonna wait for that price to come down.

I'll make my final decision when/if PES6 comes out on the Xbox360.

Oh and also; the PS3 pad the wii-mote are completely different.

The stuff inside the PS3 pad are called gyroscopes, so it is the controller sensing if it is being moved up doown left or right. Imagine the pad as one big analogue stick; nothing new, been done before. Not really innovative and nowhere near the functions of the wii-mote.

The wii-mote is fully motion sensored. It can tell how high, how far, what angle...it is from the console, do the PS3 pad crap, use motions(such as performing a backhand in a tennis game) to create on screen actions.....completely different, and imho, superior to the PS3 pad functions.

I might just stick with my 360 and buy a Wii later on, don't see muh point in a ps3 other that MGS. But thats gone down hill since the first .

Yep dan and i must say its looking like its gonna be a killer, and they were not cgi movies which totally blew me away. Was your download kept stopping, im guessing xbox live got hammered.

yeah I agree, ps3 is nice but I wont even consider it till the price drops, cause right now its crazy. My only thing is the wii is looks like gamecube/ps2 games. its gonna be hard to come back to those graphics after playing with games like GRAW and halo. But i was shocked at how expensive ps3 is, but i know that ill have to get it
