The PS3 console doesn't look better than the new Xbox one. I hate the look of the new control pad as well. I don't understand how you could get your hands around it. Very impressed by the specs though.

Is the PS3 more powerfull than the Xbox 360? I think I am gonna get the console that can produce the best graphics and more power the way that I purchased an Xbox before I got rebought a PS2!

I am not a PLaystation fanboy but I always have preferred games made in Japan. I don't know why, it's just that the gameplay, graphics, design etc always seems to be of a higher standard. I wouldn't dream of buying an X-Box but thats just me. That PS3 looks f¤%#ing sexy. The controller looks shit though in my opinion but remember that Sony were the first company to allow backwards compatibility from PS1 to PS2 regarding controllers and memory etc. Let's hope we can use the old PS2 pads on this beauty! I can't bloody wait...that Killzone pic made me do a sex wee.

I doubt you can use the old Dualshocks on the new PS3 as all PS3 controllers are wireless so unless they've added the ports specifically for the Dualshocks you woun't be able to use them.

Everyone seems to despise that controller, but I'm going to reserve judgement until I've used it, it does look rather like an N64 controller with the third prong missing, those were very comfortable contollers. The Gamecube controller also looked awful but was very comfortable to hold. I imagine the overly long handles are there to balance the weight of the controller.

I think that controller could be ok.. I won't write it off till I've used it anyways. The console design looks cool.. and those screens....

That is one of the most ugly controllers I have ever seen, it looks like a darn boomerang. But I agree that the GC controller looks awful too and plays amazing.
I dont like the look of the console, but thats usually personal.

Yeash, your both right about the controller. I remember thinking that no one could make a better, more comfortable controller than the one Nintendo made for the Super Nintendo because at the time it was amazing. But try holding one of those now. Absolutely awful! Sony wouldn't release it if it was not ergonomic etc etc. Let's wait and see. There are always third party PS3 controllers that will be released to satisfy the demand for PS2 style controllers for PS3 if they turn out to be crap.

Yeah, Nintendo usually make quality controllers, I was surprised with GoldenEye on the N64 playing so well.

Is it true that XboxLive service will be free with an option to take some sort of Premium service which you will have to pay for?

Im sure a free XBL would give a huge boost to the online gaming aspect.
Their online service is miles ahead of Sony's, who fail to deliver killer aps that could give a great boost. Sony has a bigger installed base, so its weird that they fail to deliver a decent online function. The best online-games on the PS2 are third-party.
But the screenshots look hopeful, although I get the feeling some are artwork.

I heard you can plug your IPod in the 360 as well which is stranger.
Bear in mind that the Ipod is made by rival Apple

What I think is that it doesnt really matter which one you choose, both look more or less the same, specs are roughly equal and the graphics looks amazing.
But where the heck are the football games?
Im sure,at least EA, would have shown a jaw-dropping screenshots and some info that they "dveloped the best football game ever".
