and this year the new engine gets me excited(360 version), i saw a gameplay footage of the 360 version and it looked sublime, the animation and the graphics
EDIT: i have an open mind about FIFA unlike others who bfore any info is out r like "FIFA SUX" "FIFA SHIT AGAIN" even if they had the same gameplay as PES i will gurantee u that PESM fonboys will still complain

I think that Fifa has its + sides aswell, but if you just consider longevity and the aspect of trying to simulate real life football ( in terms of gameplay, aside from all the licenced bull...) then it obvious to see that PES is the winner. I'm not trying to put Fifa down, anyone who enjoys Fifa doesn't make them a loser or something. Everuone 's entiteld to their own opinion and taste...

I was Charlton, and I was relegated out of the premiership. The three teams that were promoted where Luton Town, Southampton and Leeds. Luton? I mean, no offence to the Luton Town fans but would they really get promoted into the prem? That's called "Un-realistic" if you ask me. I have a mate at school ( Well, I shouldn't really call him an mate, I don't really like him, and I don't really think he likes me ), and he loves FIFA. He is always telling me how FIFA is waaaaay better then PES, and how much more money FIFA has..... but tbh, IMO.... the only reason he and a lot more boys play and think FIFA is better than PES is because of the kits. PES doesn't have as much money as FIFA, and we are also not liscenced from FIFA, so we couldn't get the liscences. He also says that FIFA has better gameplay than PES ( :laugh: :laugh: ), but that's another story. Yet again, I have another mate who used to always play on FIFA, and he loved it. The other day he asked me if I am going to get PES6, and I said obviously, why? He said he was just wondering as he now likes PES a lot more better then FIFA! I was ofcourse surprised at the time. As before hand I was the only person in my year that liked PES better than FIFA. It was a good breath of fresh air, and enjoyable to hear :happy:.Sorry If I have now told my life story. It's great when you convert people from FIFA to PES, i got a few lads who used to love FIFA totally hooked on PES when i was in uni. FIFA may have it's licenses an all but it has always lacked in gameplay since FIFA 96, in fact the best thing about last years FIFA was that it had the very first FIFA game from the Megadrive on it! I rented it out from the Choices and found myself playing FIFA International Soccer (1994) rather than the actual FIFA 06!
There are plenty of people who moan about the kits and stuff in the PES series but when you've got people like myself and Watson making option files, then it improves your pro evo gaming experience a hell of alot more.

If they fifa fans who love the licenses so much played a patched version of PES i could guarantee about 4 outta the 5 would convert!
I was actually converted myself.I always loved the fifa's up till 2003 when they got rid of the Edit mode :no: I discovered PES3 after a mate told me to rent it out and i was just hooked then on in with the edit mode and the game overall, now 3 years down the line i can't get enough of PES!
My opinion on the demo of FIFA07 is simple. It is shit!
Ive played around 5 or 6 games, including 2 with mates.
I thought the gameplay was exactly the same as before as were the graphics.
Now with the 360 version cutting down on the leagues (for me its a down point) it may not sell as well as EA thinks it will! :mellow:
