That celebrations video, did anyone notice the vein on Rooneys neck at 3:20?

Top detailing, especially on his forearms too. Looking extra good graphically, surely not long till they include tattoo's if thats the level they're at now.

tatoos wud be hard as they would have to call players up to scan them, as EA have the money they were able to call in AC squad and get K.P tattz, i would love to see konami do this but trust me it will cost a lot and take some time.

ill hedge my bets that now that we have new/more kit templates well have more or new number styles, fingers crossed but either way cant wait to get cracking in that editing section :)

Me neither, I think I probably enjoy editing more than the football!!

Thats me every year, straight into the edit mode then maybe a match or two until I see something else to edit mid match.

I see your point, it's a shame really what with the level of detail they have reached with everything else.

Who knows, maybe one day.

Same as well edit mode comes first. Gotta see who has a preset who got new stats the whole nine yards..

Finally... all this time there was me thinking i was a loony loner :)

for me 25% of PES is the atmosphere (stadiums, fans etc), 25% is the graphics (likenesses, kits, pitches etc), 50% is the game-play (stats to make players play like their real life counter parts, options for the user to pass, dribble, do flicks, team tatics dictating play etc)... hang on, cant all this be adjusted in the edit mode? ;)

That makes PES 100% about the editing for me :) I love and appreciate the efforts the Konami Dev. team go to but i also love the options they give us the make the game we buy off the shelf our own, technically there could be 1000 of us buy a copy at the same time on the same day and by the end of that day all 1000 of us could have a game which sounds, looks and plays differently to the others, the only thing they would have in common would be the name!

Which brings me onto something I noticed in the extra content video posted above, there are 4 kit styles to purchase, 2 (the bottom two with short shorts) look like classic kits circa 1982 world cup, the other two don't look any different to each other except from the colar changing.

From that I will deduce that there are two options, the four kits are ALL classics and the first two are circa 1960/70s the bottom two are circa 1980/early 90s.

I would love to see Konami add in the option to have normal shirts and the tight shirts for the modern day teams, i.e. we could choose to have a puma kit like Tottenham, loose fitting or we we could choose to have a kit like Ivory Coast, tighter fitting. I though that's what these were at first then the whole classic thing clicked.

Just a shame I'm gonna use the classic teams to make the squads from the 2011 U17 World Cup for my ML ;)

In my opinion PES 2012 editor is going to be much better than the 2011 one, the stadium editor of PES 2011 was very limitated, you only could create a few stadiums because there wasn't enough variety of stadium parts, the celebrationsa re going to be very great, and they removed those weird balls (candy, barrel,...) in the extra content area and put those classic balls, very good by Konami, and the classic kits are great too, i'd like to see new fonts, new color palette (because the black color in the kits and the edit mode hairstyles looks like dark grey), and a more realistic crowd sound when you score a goal, the best part of PES is editing, let's see if we can have in PES 2013 a boots editor or a callnames creator (because mi name isn't on PES).

My hopes (wishlist for PES12)

1: XBox 360 to have full range of import options like PS3. (Images on stadiums etc)
2: Wider range of options in stadium creator - to make enclosed bowls etc.
3: When creating / editing team - to be able to edit location / rivals etc.
4: Al lot more shapes and templates for badge editing.
5: Add outlines to numbers and name lettering again.
6: More kit templates.
7: Clone various attributes from different players like in old PES games, such as say if I wanted to give David De Gea Pranjic's face - I don't have to base copy Pranjic entirely over De Gea and then default everything.

I agree. but i have to throw in one or two

Proper boot editing. shorts logos.

Yeah I'm with you guys on the boot editor! Again, licences may cause an issue but if Konami can implement a boots editor rather than a creator, we could then select a template of the boots Konami are allowed to use and alter the colours to the ones we want. I think that seems like middle ground :)

An example of this would be the yellow F50 in PES2012, we could base copy that design or open an option of a "blankF50" then... colour it in so that we could have the yellow original and the red white and blue F50 :)

For the DLCs Konami could give one colour of each boot type and we could then use the editor to re-create that boot but in another colour to widen our options.

We would need extra slots to save our boots in. I don't want to edit boots for more options only to have to copy it over an original boot! Thought I'd get that bit in early ;)

The boots editor in PES6 was brilliant, by choosing different layers you could do things like the Nike swoosh etc and then choose four colour schemes for each design. That would be great to see back.

Also I have a question:

In PES11 we can edit the shape of the pitch, and the pitch outline in the stadium creator (curved edges etc) and in PES12 we can put a running track around the edge. But can we also go to the other extreme and cut the distance to the stands from the edge of the pitch, maybe to Old Trafford / Rose Park distances?

It would be nice to make more enclosed and "intimate" stadia, like the older Premier League grounds such as WHL or Anfield. Anyone know?

No idea, but I am hoping we can. After Emirates Stadium, I think the Bombonera is number 2 on my list.

I use Estadio Da Luz for the Emirates, they're practically identical apart from the roof trusses.

Gonna make some Premiership and Serie A stadia. Well ones I can't use Rose Park for.

arsenal use to be called royal arsenal anyway konami always make mistakes on the pitch. Anyway the pes animator - the one that does moves which are replicated onto the games needs to be fired - he makes the animation and skill execution crap.
Since they are working with c.ronaldo(unless konami payed him too say that), it should be him as he is one of the worlds best dribblers instead of it being that chinese guy that looks like he is constipating when he runs

In PES2011 we could make stands close to the pitch but only by selecting certain stands only problem was that in-game my ibrox looked spot on until i scored and the camera angle changed to show 3 of the stand were 1 tier too small lol

would love to see stadium editor expanded fingers crossed!
