Me neither, I think I probably enjoy editing more than the football!!
Thats me every year, straight into the edit mode then maybe a match or two until I see something else to edit mid match.
Same as well edit mode comes first. Gotta see who has a preset who got new stats the whole nine yards..
Finally... all this time there was me thinking i was a loony loner
for me 25% of PES is the atmosphere (stadiums, fans etc), 25% is the graphics (likenesses, kits, pitches etc), 50% is the game-play (stats to make players play like their real life counter parts, options for the user to pass, dribble, do flicks, team tatics dictating play etc)... hang on, cant all this be adjusted in the edit mode?
That makes PES 100% about the editing for me
I love and appreciate the efforts the Konami Dev. team go to but i also love the options they give us the make the game we buy off the shelf our own, technically there could be 1000 of us buy a copy at the same time on the same day and by the end of that day all 1000 of us could have a game which sounds, looks and plays differently to the others, the only thing they would have in common would be the name!
Which brings me onto something I noticed in the extra content video posted above, there are 4 kit styles to purchase, 2 (the bottom two with short shorts) look like classic kits circa 1982 world cup, the other two don't look any different to each other except from the colar changing.
From that I will deduce that there are two options, the four kits are ALL classics and the first two are circa 1960/70s the bottom two are circa 1980/early 90s.
I would love to see Konami add in the option to have normal shirts and the tight shirts for the modern day teams, i.e. we could choose to have a puma kit like Tottenham, loose fitting or we we could choose to have a kit like Ivory Coast, tighter fitting. I though that's what these were at first then the whole classic thing clicked.
Just a shame I'm gonna use the classic teams to make the squads from the 2011 U17 World Cup for my ML
