Has anyone seen or heard anymore on the editing facilities in PES 2012, like the kit templates, slots, stadium editor etc?

The only thing i know so far is to do with stadium editor, apparently there are more bowl stand options rather than singular stands. Check out PESFAN where some guy called graday gave some details regarding modes.

Would love the ability to full edit the back side of a kit, and put a club emblem on shorts as well. How hard can that be to implement?

I no man, I remember on PES 4 or 5 they had back shirt logo's, crazy we can't even put a logo or emblem on the shorts FFS.

From the fact that PES 2011 had exactly the same kit templates and options as PES 2010, we can take that they don't care a lot.

Pro Evolution Soccer has lots and lots of unlicensed teams, the least they could do is provide us with the necessary options and possibilities to make the kits look perfect and realistic. Yet they do not even evolve!

Edit Mode is the whole reason I play PES. I really take pride in making my kits, my changes in players abilities, importing faces, changing boots, updating hairstyles, transfers. So I think KONAMI should have some respect for those who still look forward to go to Edit Mode first when they buy the game instead of going online to play a match!

I think I'd actually do a jig with excitement if they included a full yet unlicensed championship. As well as a better selection of templates and ways to implement them, similar to what has been suggested above.

I totally agree with Damien. The editing is why I fell in love with PES. But now it has become stale with the lack of improvment throughout the year. I haven't really looked to see if Fifa has improved their creation centre this year, but I'm sure it's going to be vastly improved and completely in-game (hopefully not having to be used online like lasr year)

The problem with fifa's editing is that it's never been anywhere near as in depth as pro's. I haven't played the last fifa admittedly, but from the ones I have played I always went into the editing section and was amazed at how little option there was in comparison.

True, Konami need to take the next step with their mode instead of staying with the same old system but I doubt very much that even if they do stick with last years version, EA's will be anywhere near. Maybe if it was then Konami would feel the pressure to improve again.

Thats very true. Fifa10 and 11 were the first i've bought since 2002 and i agree the editing isn't all that impressive form what i've seen. I didn't even bother with the editing in last years fifa because of the whole you have to do it online business of it. But it is certainly an improvment from past iterations and one would think they will only improve it in the future.

The editing is not on par with the current PES system, but unless PES start improving their system, I dont think it will be long until Fifa surpass them I feel.
That being said I really hope PES pulls up its socks as it holds a special place in my heart.

We should talk about PES, not FIFA.

I'm not sure, One of the reasons other than game play why PES has fans is because of it's creation centre, where now for FIFA 12 you can create your own kits, where you can load images from the internet and use them as sponsors and logos. I'm pretty sure there was something to do with stadiums as well :/
If PES's game play isn't up to scratch I could sadly see FIFA getting an even bigger market span.

An overhaul would be ideal, as simple things like not making the front of the shirt correspond with the box for adding shirt sponsors is retarded. So many times you feel it's centered on the shirt and it's fallen into the stretch zone and it's all over the place.

the reason the teemplates wernt changed from 2010 to 2011 is so as prequel data didnt become messed up but according from Graday on pesfan there have been additional templates added to pes 2012.

What exactly, limits KONAMI from making a fake Bundesliga like they did with Premier League or Liga Portuguesa?:shocking:

Nemisiskidd

its all about licensing fifa will then complain and say konami are really and trully got a full bundesliga due to its expansive editing system and that would bring up a law suit as fifa have payed to have the bundesliga only for their rights.

Nemisiskidd

thats the problem ppl think konami r lazy 4 not creating lots of leagues as i said above this is becoz fifa have bought the rights to these leagues if konami put them in as fake leagues along with the brilliant edit mode fifa will complain as it will seem as a cheat way to get the licenses for pes e.g. lets say fifa pay money for bundesliga
pes create fake bundesliga, fifa have the upper hand here as their bundesliga is licensed but if konami have good edit mode were players can successfully license these leagues by theirselves it will seem konami have got bundesliga for free, this will then turn into a law suit eventually sueing konami, thats why konami have a limit and teams they can license in the EPL and certain bundesliga teams like bayern munich.
