Europa League Fake Teams! Arrrrrgggghhh!!!

I am loving my Master League so far with Celtic on Top Player

But! and I mean BUT! last night I had a wee look in the tournament info to see what the Champions League part of the game looked like and all the proper teams seemed to be in it and the ones who you would think should be topping their groups were.

However! I then went and had a look at the Europa League and the Groups were absolutely littered with those stupid created, wired up named teams from the Other Leagues section of the game! This has hurt my massive appreciation of the game so far and the enjoyment I am getting out of Master League!

Has anybody else noticed this and is there a chance these teams could also end up in the Champions League!

Is there a way to even delete these teams altogether from the game!?

I noticed three teams were place in the 'Other Leagues (Latin America)' section when searching for players. Wouldn't be quite so jarring to have three made up Latin American teams if one of them wasn't 75%+ made up of Greek names. D'oh!

I can't believe the UEFA license can be treated so shoddily without all licensed UEFA competition competitors.

That's a shame. I'm playing league mode and there's only real teams in the Europa League and CL there. League mode is awesome this year :)

100% spot on there.

I haven't even touched Master League yet, I'm mainly waiting from the V2 Option File from Daymos to be released so I can play Championship/Premier League which will be superb.

Apart from that though I've just played the African Nations Cup as a side venture, but mainly I've been playing League Mode in the Eredivisie. I wasn't sure which league or team to go for, but I decided on something different in the Dutch league, and I love the Feyenoord strip so I went with them and I don't regret it one bit. They (we?) play a nice free-flowing 4-3-3 formation, with also some fast wingers, but the team has experienced veterans too such as Gio Van Bronkhorst and John Dahl Tomasson. :cool: Such a lovely combination of players, I really am enjoying it so much this year. I'm still in my 1st season but it's going excellent, I started off slowly but I'm now around 7 points clear at the top with maybe 8 league games left (rough estimate). I'm still in the KNVB Cup and also the Europa League (playing Sevilla in the Quarter-Finals!). I'm seriously in love with the League mode, I think the fact you can't buy players is a genuine blessing in disguise, because this way you become really attached to your squad and have to learn their strengths and weaknesses more so than you would if you had the choice of constantly changing it through transfers.

Feyenoord on for the treble? :w00t

^Good stuff. I'm doing United and Real Madrid (sue me =P) seasons right now. Later on I'll end up playing like 10 league mode seasons at once. I do this in every Pes cuz I like using different teams. I'll have to start the dreaded ML eventually this year just to collect the trophies :laugh:

Anyways after taking a 2nd look there are fake teams in my Europa league after all lol like 1 per group. I thought they were real minnow teams at 1st glance. Oh well doesn't bother me at all cuz even if they were real less known clubs I wouldn't know who is who anyways lol. And the CL and EL licenses are so well integrated into league mode that I got no complaints.

Can honestly say this happened the first time I played the master league but not since. If you go to team ranking, you'll be able to find if those fake teams are in there! I have edited over 4 of the fakes Other Teams A with Bundesliga Teams, so they appear in European competitions. Ive also made the Championship up. I think this eliminates the made up team threat!

Wow as a new comer to PES I didn't even know I could play a League (rather then Master League). The first thing I did after crossing over from FIFA was to start Master League with a big club just to get a feel for PES and how it works.... I will have to check out all the options tonight :D Does the League option allow you to play more then one season?

Yes it does. It just keeps going on and on. You still have to qualify for Europe and all but without new signings or player development it's kinda pointless. It's more fun to start fresh with a different club unless you failed to win the league and really wanna do it with that one club.

It depends what you want to do with them

The greek side is Pananios
The Russian sides are: Amkar Perm,CSKA Moscow, Dinamo Moscow and Rubin Kazan
The Romanian sides are: FC Timisoara
The Swiss side is: FC Zurich
The Turkish side is: Trabzonspor

This is based upon their position within the alpha country, alpha team order....but to be honest you can create whatever teams you want over them as the players are totally fake. As I said, ive created 4 bundesliga sides so that they will fill out european competitions.

I never realised you could play the Champs Lg and Europa Lg in League mode! I thought it was just a single season playing league opposition. Is there a Div 1 cup in league mode as well?

I might have to give this a go before I start my Masters League campaign now.

Just to clarify - The league mode is pretty much same as the Master League mode, except your players don't develop and you can't make transfers?

Pretty much, oh and you can select more teams however you wont be able to play the cup....

I didn't know that either; makes for a really good mode. It's quite nice to have a league mode where teams don't make (sometimes bizarre) signings.

Yea there's a league cup in league mode as well, that you can rename to whatever you like in edit mode. So that's 3 cup competitions on top of your league. It's a lot different than ML. On top of not being able to sign or develop players, you can't do stuff like get sponsors or upgrade staff, etc. You know, management stuff. I prefer it though cuz I just wanna hit the pitch, not tinker with a million other stuff.

Or 16 year olds with 93 rating and crazy ass stats.

i use rosh option file but made some changes myself, fake other teams a changed to bundesliga teams cant remember what ones though
