i bought pes 2009 recently.

and i am PISSED OFF. konami took the legend that was eusebio and made him into a pile of junk.

he lost his shot accuracy & power, stamina, speed, acceleration, dribble spped and acc.

the black panther was legendary for his dribbling with pinpoint precision and his right foot laser of a shot. now, he's no better than halil altintop (no offense, halil's fans...)


screw this. i'm changing him back to the way he was in pes 2008.

Also, have you guys noticed Kaka's and Ronaldo's stats when you compare them. Ronaldo is a ridiculous player in the game, while Kaka is much less of a player. In real life though, Kaka is better than Ronaldo (even if he did score 42 goals this past year.), or at least on the same level. Remember Man Utd vs. Milan Champions League 2007? Kaka ridiculed him. And don't get me wrong, Ronaldo is great, but when you compare the two it seems you are comparing Maradona to some lower division player.

wow he really should be given better stats than him then!

Fact is ronaldo had the most amazing season out of any player in the world, meaning when people are creating a game they are going to make him the best player in the world

no matter what stats they give a player people are always going to moan that they are to high or low, its called an opinion!

Kaka isn't that great to begin with, and AC Milan was a better TEAM than Man Utd was That season.

Somehow, I always think that people forget about the Contributions of Andrea Pirlo, Pippo Inzaghi, Clarence Seedor, and Gennaro Gattuso throughout that Champions League (2007-2008).

I don't even think Kaka leaded AC Milan to the victory, Kaka was just a Key player amongst other Key players.

I would still pick Kaka over Cristiano Ronaldo. But I'm just saying, people have Hugely Exaggerated everything Kaka did in that Champions League.

Just take the Stats he had in the PS2 versions..

And you could also add more "Shooting Power" because Modern Footballs are much Lighter than the ones Pele and Eusebio used to kick.

And by the way, it isn't just Eusebio, all the Classic Players have Ridiculous Stats, they do Not even have their Real faces and they clearly have Inaccurate Stats.

Konami just doesn't cares about Classic Players, wouldn't be surprised if Eusebio was featured as a white guy.

Don't know about Kaka, if you want to watch a truly Impressive performance, then you should take a look at Villarreal vs Inter, Juan Roman Riquelme's performance was better than anything Kaka has ever managed on a Pitch.

Kaka gave a great performance, but don't forget he was surrounded by a great Team.

But anyways, I agree, Cristiano Ronaldo is hugely Overrated in PES09, his Stats are ridiculous.

Best League in the World (Premiership) Player of the Year

Is there any reason why he wouldnt also be the best player on Pro Evo as well?

Yeah, CR may be a fairy but it's getting harder and harder to deny the fact he is one of the best players in the world. Kaka makes his team better by dictacting the flow of the match and controlling the tempo, but based purely on "stats" I have to say CR should be better then Kaka. Last I checked there was no "play maker" stat.

Meaning that the PES series is in need of more Stats and Special Abilities.

Why not a "Shielding Technique" Stat, we all know neither Kaka or Cristiano Ronaldo is as good -as- the likes of Riquelme or Zidane at "Shielding" the ball.

We need more Stats in order to establish more Differences between players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka. Ronaldo can do things Kaka would never be able to do -and- viceversa.

But the annoying thing is that in PES, Cristiano Ronaldo is just better than Kaka or Riquelme. You know, there's a Difference between "Cristiano Ronaldo is better than Kaka" -and- "Ronaldo and Kaka are Different players".

The current Set of Stats and Special Abilities is too Primitive, it lacks Depth in every Aspect.

apparently there is a guy on that forum that will release an option file with ALL the players stats fixed according to that site, i mean EPL, La liga, etc even classics

so true .. totally agree with u on that one

the problem is konami are really bad with stats .. i think they dont even know what each stat represents .. for example giving CR attack 97 will make him more of a CF/poacher like van nistelrooy and we all know he does not play like that.

ive spent a couple of hours fixing stats of the teams i mostly play with .. and it does make a great difference to me .. even my friends when they come over notice difference in gameplay
