FULL License. Keep the master league as it is but use proper leagues i.e. FAPL, La Liga, Serie A etc. More stadiums.

Aftertouch (like in Kick Off 2) so you can bend shots!!

Online play for PS2/PC.

[One feature I really like to see included in future editions is the random re-birth of retired players. Players retired at almost the same age. So to bring them back simultaneously would mean that the reborn players will still be competing with other at almost the same age until their next retirement.. It would indeed be more fun if the players are reborn at random.

Sorry but that would be ridiculous ( I mean aftertouch). That would be like this game that I've played on candystand.com where you just drag the mouse back then fling it forwards. What I do is drag it back and just move it around in circles so that the ball can swerve in 4 or 5 directions. That is unrealistic. You can already curve shots. You have to apply the curvature before the shot just like in real life. Once you've hit it, you can do nothing about it.

The is already online play for PC and I think there is going to be PS2 online play in PES 5.

It wouldn't have to be like that at all. If you've played kick off you'll know it can work perfectly well. I think you could implement it using the right analogue just like you do for doing body swerves - have a shot, then quickly tap right analogue. The secondary chip shot works a bit like this, in that you are applying the :R1: after pressing :square: . It's still what i'd refer to as "aftertouch".

How do you curve shots in Pes 4? I can do it in free kicks, but i've never intentionally done it from free play.

Hope Konami read this forum. Here's what I want in PES5:

1) More stadium. Where's Santiago Bernabeu?
2) More classic players. Where is Klinsmann?
3) Chant Chant Chant!!!
4) in ML
Ability to turn on

Sorry. I pressed a wrong button. Here's more:

4) In ML, the ability to turn on/off the acquisition of retired players
5) Training sessions in ML is a good idea. But if you are a perfectionist freak, like me, who train all players on all types of practice (e.g., Oliver Kahn on dribbling), it's become a tedious WORK!!!
6) Also in ML, more realistic player transfer system (like one in CM4). For examples, when I'm buying a player, the team's okay, but player doesn't wanna come (or vice versa),so I can act accordingly.
7) Maybe I'm asking to much, but It'd be great if Konami gives users an option to turn on/off aging of the players in ML. Some may like PES3 system (not age), while the others like PES4 system (age)

8) Since PES is a more serious footy game than FIFA, I'd like to see the ability to choose who's to go up the field during free kick/corner kick, e.g., both of my CBs (like in CM4).

9) 9-position penalty kick.
10) power bar on penalty kick.

11) the ability to adjust the speed of power bar
12) 7* and 8*

13) FOR PC version, 32 dribble directions instead of 8!!! *****

14) Allow users to put their own music into the games (like madden 2003).

15) Different formations and tactics for home&away game for CPU. For example, more aggressive at home and more defensive playing an away game or protecting the lead in cup tie.

16) For ML, average players' performance score would be nice (again, like CM).

17) Oh, back to chanting. I play Bayern Munich. It's weird when I play against Milan in San Siro, and when milan score the crowd chant "Bayern Bayern...." You know what I mean? (I set crowd support to Home&Away though)

18) It'd be nice to see all other decoration things such as tucked-out shirts, lowered socks, ball boys, etc. But if Konami is to add all of these things, make sure to give an option to turn on/off, too. (VDO cards are quite expensive these days)

19) DON'T CHANGE ANY GAME PLAY!!!! PES4's GAMEPLAY IS (nearly) PERFECT ALREADY. In other words, don't fall into a trap like crappy fifa did.

I know Seabass (and Konami) has the ability to do all this. Just don't be lazy :)

1: Add Linesmen (assistant Referee's) Pretty poor when you dont see them running up an down the line and then when a ball is played and someone gets caught offside and they score, they just appear out of nowhere lol

2: Handballs, obviously in real life handballs are there... why not PES

3: Diving... same as handballs really...

make transfers more realistic like ronaldo and stuff coming to crappy clubs just coz they paid a lot of money for him...

also commentaters should go "Will this new transfer make any effect?" or hes scored on his debut! like in fifa 2005

PES 3 had handballs, it just didn't work so they've all but dropped it for 4. You can't compare real life where you have full control of your body (usually) to a video game where you have very limited control of a player(relatively speaking). You don't have control of a players hands in pro evo so the handball system seemed totally random.

Entering the Final of any knockout competition is not an easy thing. Hence Konami should create some kind of feature which will built up the tension leading to the fnal. I wis for some kind of Comparison Chart such that each player can be compared to another another of the opposing team. For eg. if Inter Milan is facing Barcelona in the final. The Computer should be able to list out the probable 22 players from both teams with their picture and their positions. The pictures of the players should be position side by side.eg Keeper (Inter MIlan) vs Keeper (Barcelona) Striker (Inter Milan) vs Striker (Barcelona) with their average rating below their names. If a player has received some kind of award before. The award should also be shown next to the rating. Similarly the number of red cards, no of goals scored, number of appearances with the club can be appended below the player name.

managers coming from dug out shouting orders to his players, manager calling players over and having a word with them to pass messages onto his other team mates, managers arguing with the 4th official about decision the ref has made. jose to give after math comments about the officiating of the game, ha ha ha...
