im not sure if this has already been mentioned but what about classic teams involving club teams too. like the liverpool team of the 80's and man utd 99', ajax 95' ect. and even england 96', 90' or 66' as opposed to them all being narrowed down into 1 team. holland 88' and france 98' come to mind too, sweeden 94'. ok i think you all get my point now :D

i reckon random crowd invasion eg. streakers wold be pretty funni, but it should only happen at incredibly random times n not too often

well does'nt necessarily have to be streakers, it can be like a disgruntled barca fan or that little weeping boy from leeds out to get revenge on backstabbing (they say) players eg. figo n alan smith....something along those lines and i reckon crowd reaction to players goal celebration, like when rooney did the ear thing to the kop, in the game if he does that you should be able to see projectiles aimed at him an even better idea when any team (inter) are losing a home game you should see in between plays clips of their "loyal" fans heading for the exit and the commentator (yes change him too) should make a smartass wity comment on it

OK here's my list:-

1) Please, please get rid of Peter Brooking and Trevor Brackley, they are so poor at commentating and we've suffered them long enough now. Bring on Motty or someone of that standard.

2) Better atmosphere to the game, add things like man of the match, chants and lose the annoying 80's electro rock guitar rubbish soundtrack. REAL MUSIC PLEASE!!

3) More weather effects which change gameplay; snow, heavy rain etc. Was touched on in PES4 but needs to be pushed further.

4) Sort the cheating AI out please and stop the goalie blankly staring at the ball whilst its destroying the back of the net. Konami real goalies don't smoke a joint before they get on the pitch!

5) More licenses but that won't happen until EA lose their grip over the FIFA deal.

Anyway had my rant. Konami please take extra notice of point 1. WE ALL HATE THE COMMENTARY!!

Fair point LOS, sometimes it is amusing to watch the goalie dumbstruck by a lightning goal.

As long as they make some sort of effort to sort the commentary out I'll be happy. It really drags an entertaining game experience down, even if you turn Brooking and Brackley off you have to cope with repetitive and miss-timed chants.

It was not until last night when I played my first game of FIFA since '99 round a mates house that I realised that the commentary is miles ahead of PES4. Plus it was FIFA 2003 that i played so it must have moved on since then (haven't played the latest one)

About the commentary....it's not Peter Brackley and Trevor Brookings fault that it is so poor. They are not sitting inside your computer commentating live!!!! All they do is record a load of phrases and names that they've been asked to read from a script. It is the programmers job to program the game so that the appropriate phrase is used at the right time. If 'Motty' had done the commentary for PES4 it might sound more authentic to you, and you may prefer his tone/delivery, but he would be saying exactly the same things at the same time.
It's Konami that need to sort the commentary out.

Another fair comment. However the point I'm trying to make is that PES4 is a very well rounded game that has come along way since ISS, but flaws like the poor programming of the commentary never seems to get addressed properly everytime a new version gets released.

Don't get me wrong, I think PES4 is an excellent game, and hopefully PES5 will be even better.

highlights of other games, and pitch invasions would be excellent. better commentary is needed defo. Licenced premiership teams are needed especially United, Arsenal and Chelsea. Santiago Bernabeu is needed nd what happened to all the striped shirts on edit mode in pes4?

They need to get the pitches right. Why is the Milan pitch so great, when in reality, it’s actually quite awful? The Anfield pitch was awesome in PES3, somewhat realistic. However, I loathe the one in PES4. It sucks! Now I want to be Liverpool when I play ML but if that means I have to play on the lame looking pitch, then forget it. There wasn't any need to change it. Just like the throw-in mode. It was better in the previous game. They wrecked it by trying to improve it.
