i dunno if this has been mentioned yet but an annoying thing which always happens to me in pes4 is when the ref blows the ht or ft whistle when im either clean through or on a counter attack, this pisses me off! it never happened in pes3! so i hope they get it sorted for pes5.

I think they should also concentrate more on the nets. Sounds stupid, but at Old Trafford the nets aren't very far back, but in the Nou Camp (I think) they are very deep, so it'd be good if they could do that.

The penalty mode needs to be improved. Goalkeepers in reality never save a penalty which is bound for the top corner so it's a bit of a farce to have it in a game. Players should have the ability to place the ball in the top corner without the keeper even having the slightest chance of saving it. However, to make it fairer, I think the AI could be improved. Based on the way the game is going, players who are not playing as well as they could (based on his current game stats) could (should, would) actually find it difficult to convert a penalty, if he's playing reasonably well then he should have a decent chance of scoring and if a player is playing exceptionally well then his accuracy should be greater (all that providing the player shoots in the right direction of course). You get the idea, no?

Furthermore, if the goalie has made some blinding saves then up to the point of the penalty the probability of him saving a penalty should be greater, and again that's providing he dives in the right direction of course.

i agree when the goalkeeper dives it looks so fake also i think the master league should be improved with all the english teams in it like fifa and when u can change teams that should be in it and there should be more flair and they should tell u whats wrong with the player when he gets an injury also players should have there haircut that would be good in the middle of a master league aand in the master league it should be more managerial.

biggest thing for me like i said in another similar thread is that the stadiums need to be improved. because if you played ea sports euro 2004 the stadiums were incredible which made it feel like you were actually there. especially playing at dusk which was great. pitches dont look realistic in pes4, and the crowd atmosphere should be better.
Also the commentary needs to be hugely improved, i know everyone agrees with this. they should look at champions league 2004/05 game because the commentary in that is very good.

as far as gameplay goes there isnt a massive amount that needs changing just little things that would add to the realism, like the players running motion which is so robotic it needs to be more fluid.

I'm really liking that. Like the uplifting tune you always here Norwich city playing, or the 'Glad All Over' tune that Palace play at the start of a match. Providing both teams are in the game by then of course.

1. We should be able to be a player/manager like Fifa 2005 so we can change teams during the ML because it's boring using a team for about 4 seasons.

2. Managers on the sideline would be could but even better if their frustrations can be shown when a decision goes against them.

3. I like it when you can control one player for a match but if they can add a mode where you control one player and you have to earn a first team spot and you can sign for different clubs during the ML.

# 1 and 2 should be definetly in the came but #3 would be a very nice feature

Have you tried creating your own team Chess Intellij?
You can transfer players at your wish during offseason and change the flags and emblems too.
This way there is no need to change teams during the ML.

Like your 2nd idea though, it adds some realism to the game.

On pes4 when you press pass sometimes its passes about 2 seconds afterwards!! by then its too late an youve been tackled!!Seriously needs to be improved.

Yer but not every player has got a good first touch in real life, that is why on the game the defenders touch is shit most of the time. So i tihnk it is okay really.

I also think that players that wonder offside should get back onside asap instead of wondering around the goalkeeper, i would also like to see a power bar on the trough ball (high and low)-pes4 was rumoured to have this but didnt happen in the end

I would also like to see a power bar for headers!! as the headers are kinda crap in WE/PES...if there was a 'jump' button and a 'power' bar then it'd make them more effective if you learned how to use it correctly

- being able to choose from ALL the playaz in ML, not just the selected teams and system players.
- letting players improve their offside coordination when developing, really bugging to have your thru' balls waved all the time with serious players.
- letting special players develop special abilities.
- providing transfer information for all affected teams twice a year (automated updates, anyone?)
- better flow for defending players so they don't just stop when passed, but can act more instinctly
- dropping that ridicuouls feature with players getting dizzy after losing the ball so they can't bounce back
- dropping that other silly feature where a player rises his arms to play innocent hence being unable to pursue the ball (I mean, if ref. don't whistle what are you standing there for??)..
- etc.
