Hmmm. You make a good point, but Drogba fits in perfectly with my formation though (4-5-1), so I'd rather not get rid of him as I doubt I could find anyone better for that particular position in that system.

You're not the only one who's had bad luck with player injuries either; in one game, I had Fellaini, Vucinic AND Vermaelen pick up injuries in a game :angry::huh:

But I don't pay for the Healing cards, I just leave who ever's injured out until they can come back into the team.

About 2,400 I think. I won two tourneys today so Ive also added to my squad with Hinkel, Scott McDonald and Cristiano Lucarelli. I like this add-on and saying as this is my week from work I imagine I will be hogging it.

EDIT: Does it matter which player is on the pack you choose or what? I seem to get lesser deals when I choose one thats not Bastian Schweinstiger.

Anyway, I just entered the St Patricks trophy and managed to get Drogba inspired victories over Marseille, Barcelona and Inter Milan. Then Drogba got injured. AGAIN. I couldn't be arsed to go buy another healing card at an extortionate price, so I put Uche up front for the final against Juventus. He promptly missed a load of 1-on-1s with Buffon and we lost 1-0 despite complete domination :faceplm:

I just won the st patricks cup. i'm ahppy with the squad i've got, even though its only 4.5 stars, and i don't feel the need to invest in any new players as I can win against most with these guys. I'm just gonna keep saving up to 5k and buying a premium gold pack this week in the hope i'll find a gem and sell him for ridiculous amounts.

I've played around 80 games in the mode and I've been buying and selling a lot.

I mean, I know some people slate the "buy something then sell it for more straight away" mentality, but when there's a Real Madrid/Man Utd badge on the auctions for under 500 buy now, I'm going to buy it, knowing I can sell it for quadruple that amount.

Don't understand why EA haven't included the option to play against friends, using our ultimate teams.
