Fifa is absolutely Gash compared to pro evo, i cant believe people actually like it.

Is it out? I hate FIFA, all my friends think its better because of the animations. Funny im the only one out of them all that actually plays football each week... PES is for people who understand the game!

Fifa 12 demo on the PC is badly optimised again like the Fifa 11 demo, Fraps says it's running at a steady 60 fps, but it's choppy as hell, the game looks nice and the animation is good, but with demos that don't work on PC, why would PC gamers buy it for £40?

Pes 2012 1st demo seemed ok but many issues, hope they are fixed in the 2nd demo, which im trying to download now.

I'm downloading the demo now.What's your pc's specs?

The game speed for me is abit fast but changed it in the options to -2 and it feels perfectly suited to what i like. The demo to me feels like the most enjoyable installment of pro evo in years.

Based on the first demo I was going to go with fifa this year but based on this demo think it has to be pro evo

You are definately right. I used to play a lot of pes between pes 5 and 10, but now I really like FIFA. I don't really understand all the complaints with FIFA 12, In my opinion it is better in all aspects other than presentation, but clearly a lot of people disagree. From my experiences watching and playing soccer, FIFA feels more real. But I think it really is about preferences.

Villa's forehead is the only reason I kept playing the demo, I wanted him to score! lol

I always preferred PES but I always end up buying both, as I like to play with my Notts County! I hate the new jockeying/defending controls on Fifa, if I wanted to jockey so much I would have purchased http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtWP_TcUsgA

I actually like the fact that both games play differently and it's good that they keep making both. Just look what happened to the NFL/NHL games.

Dissapointed in both to be honest but I enjoy the 2nd demo of PES much more than Fifa, I just can't enjoy it. Fifa 08,09 and the World Cup game were great but Fifa 10 and 11 have barely improved, Fifa 12 they add a new defensive system and that warrants making a new game? I'm not saying Konami is perfect, but you can actually see the work that has been done in the AI and other areas. Fifa 12 is Fifa 11 with a new defensive system which is good in theory but has been poorly implemented in the game.



Hopefully 2k makes a football game in the future and gives Konami and Ea a run for their money.

pes 12 is much better than fifa 12. in my honest opinion pes 2011 is still better, but my mind could change within the next few weeks, maybe i have not played it enough. only played a few games of the demo so far ...

ftg pete, i think konami are the best game devolopers on the planet, 2nd is obviously rockstar ...

I agree that pes is looking better than fifa this year. But the Xbox dashboard stats say 11,877 people have downloaded the Fifa demo compared to 436 who have downloaded pes. Looks like the "licence" brigade will win again in sales

True but most of the people who buy this game actually purchase it for the PS3, it's easier to install edited kits/OF. I always buy Fifa for 360 and PES for PS3!

Follow this link and see how many people have posted on the PS3 section compared to the 360. Basically it's easier to upload custom kits that people from this great site have made from programs like Photoshop. Some of the kits that have been made over the years are ten times better that what is displayed on Fifa.

Don't get me wrong I will continue to support both games because it's good to have competition. Keeps the devs on their toes.
