are you playing with Matchday turned on? I noticed the commentary includes it for City, presumably because Aguero is injured. I noticed it earlier today. Very appropriate, another feature I love about Matchday.

I thought we could, you just had to pay extra money for it. Not Matchday feature per se, but to follow a club through weekly fixtures.

Yeah it basically changed players ratings every week depending on their performance during the previous week.


Basically that was the lead up to the current 'Match Day' feature.

Well yeah, Aguero was injured in real life.... but he was playing up front for me! It also seems to bang on about players getting injured and waiting to come back on the pitch..... when no such thing is happening. It's the worst set of commentary since Actua Soccer 2, when it used to say you'd scored from a corner, when in reality it was a 30yrd screamer!

^I don't remember FIFA12 having that PES style flash of animation of the ball before/after replays. For some reason it doesn't cause an epileptic fit as it does in PES but I would still rather not have it.

Also, when playing as Arsenal, Diaby was mentioned twice in about 5mins, in regards to being (something along the lines of) "the player that replaced the player that was transferred away". 1st time, the commentators said that he hadn't been a good replacement, 2nd time he was mentioned - he'd done a good job! :huh:

Also, Giroud finally got his "first goal" in a match I played. Moments later he was mentioned again, and was still waiting for his first goal. :laugh:

Another positive I picked up on tonight. Tactical defending has become a little more individualized. I felt that in 12 every defender was equal in ability when jockeying making it a simple go to button when defending near the box. However, I can sense a big difference between players in the demo to the point I wasn't using it for Di Ciglio (or maybe it was Abate) because he couldn't maintain a good position.

also, I always used assisted through ball in 12, so decided to be a big boy now and use manual through ball. Never realized how bad of an aim I have on through balls. So many off by 30 degrees or more.
