Shocked it hasn't had a soft release sooner (without announcement) given the level of traffic will pass through tomorrow.

You'll get loyalty packs depending on how many previous FUTs you played, how often etc.

I've broken my rule. I signed up last night. I got 4 free packs and the best players I got were Ivanovic, Pandev, Spahic, Çalhanoğlu, Cambiasso and Henderson. I got a lot of CBs, overall.

I'm trying to sell Ivanovic for 3k , so I can purchase as many contracts as possible for Friday. I put him up for an hour last night, but he didn't go. I put him up again for a day, so hopefully I 3k (or buy now 3.5k) tonight.

EDIT: I've been trying to view the web app during lunch, but it's not coming up.

EDIT2: Works on Explorer, but not Firefox, even with adblock off.

EDIT3: Oh shit! Ivanovic went for buy now 3.5k. He was going for less than £3k yesterday. Will prices be rising everyday? Should I have waited until release day to sell him?

Tomorrow and Friday is probably a good time to stock up on cheap consumables as a lot of packs will be opened and odds are some people will list them low either through ignorance or just to make some quick cash.

I've got about 35 contracts now. Mostly silver rares at 200 each. I'm not going to have the patience to wait for or craft/cheat to purchase these at 150, so I think I'm better off getting silver rare contracts at 200 than standard golds at 200. Silver rares have longer contract periods.

I was never much for trading - just played to get players - but towards the end of last season, I started getting contracts for 200 and reselling for 300+. It made me a few thousand coins, when purchased and sold in batches, but nowhere near the 100k+ coins that more experienced traders.

I just thought, if a PS player put something up for sale, can Xbox players purchase them? On the web app, can EA tell if you're a PS or Xbox player?

I've got 21,000 coins, 73 rare gold contracts and 19 rare gold squad fitness. If contracts go for their normal 450, and squad fitness for their normal 1,800, I should have about 83,000 coins after tax.

There are three separate markets. Xbox (360 and XB1), Playstation (PS3 and PS4) and PC.

Not sure what happens if you have access to an Xbox and PS using the same Origin account, how it works when you log in to the Web App?

I've only made one sale. I didn't look at my total coins, but I now see I didn't get the whole 3.5k for Ivanovic. I only saw that someone spent 3.5k, not what I got. That's a shame. Was this brought in to tackle coin selling, or something?

Surely this means people are going to sell players for more than they would've, before tax was introduced, so they can ensure good profits.

EDIT: Apparently this was implemented in FIFA 13? I can't say I noticed this over the past two years!

I think it's a combination of keeping some traders from accumulating a silly amount of coins and also to discretely encourage more pack sales.

I think it's because you get them from the catalogue, so almost everyone has access to it. Funnily enough, it's also my home kit!

If anyone is wanting to buy players for cheaper than normal to get your first team together, the next few days (especially Friday) will be the best time to do it!

I've been a bit lucky with packs, this year. I signed in this morning, while having my breakfast, to see if I sold anyone. I was greeted with a free gold pack - must be the free weekly pack - and found Joe Hart. He's going for over 10k. However, the best player I've got so far is Benzema, who was in the second 7.5k gold pack that I opened. I sold him for about 55k. I've also opened a pack with Emenike, who went for just over 10k.

My coin balance had already exceeded 100k, but it's down to 97.5k at the moment. It should jump to about 110k, once I sell Hart and some of my other listed items.

EDIT: Sold Hart for 14.75k buy now. :nath:

You see the Web App is fucked? Can't trade in any capacity and apparently they have no idea how long until it's working again.

Likely had their pants pulled down by autobuyers yet again.
