Playing as Tyson will be a lot of fun. Interestingly enough a good friend of mine actually trains now with some of the guys that trained Tyson in his early years

I'll wait for write-ups on the game when it comes out then it has positive reviews, I might give it a go. It looks good so hopefully it plays good.

i hope the game isn't as easy to master as the last one. it'll be a shame to be able to paste tyson with one hand tied behind your back

I can't wait for this game. I enjoyed playing the last version, but, as said it was easy to master, and easy to complete. Hopefully, this version is going to be a lot tougher, and much better.

Waiting....

The release date is unclear. HMV say 03/06/09 and Play.com say 03/07/09, but I think Play are probably right, because their date is a Friday and HMV's is on Wednesday.

Nice, looking forward to hearing which fighters are in this. I might get this if there's a good amount of fighters to choose from, and some recent ones too...

Has it leaked out yet, fighters list?

i liked one of the old ufc games on the dreamcast but the knockout kings/fight night series was/is just so much better.

as for the cover, i never thought i'd see tyson featured in one of these games and cant wait to get this. i always made my edited fighter black with black shorts and black boots and trained him mainly in strength and power as a replacement for the worlds greatest fighter IMO.

Amazing...

They've brought real fighting games to a new level. We'll have to see how UFC compares now.

I agree, Kahn is a fucking clown as was Nasim.
Amir Kahn will never be as good as Naseem* was. Never.

Say what you want about the bloke. About him getting fat, going to prison etc but he was one of the best featherweights of his era. He had genuine KO power. Very rare you find that in a small fighter.

Anyone who knows anything about boxing on here will agree with what I've just said.

The one fight he lost was against the only opponent with any bit of class that he fought.

So Kevin Kelley had no class? Naseem went over to the states and knocked him out. Kelley was again arguably one of the best featherweights of his time.

Please NEVER compare Naseem with Khan because one was great and the other one is a fake.

I couldn't agree with you more there, mate.

Naseem is the best fighter Britain's ever had, in my opinion. He had so much potential though, if he carried on as he did in the early stages of his career he most likely would've ended up with 60 fights, blockbusters in USA and beat all the top men. He definately would've been Britain's best ever fighter then. I genuinely think he would've been that successful if he carried on and had that fire in his belly. He was that good.

After he split with Brendan Ingle it all went down the swanny for the lad.
He just lost his love for the sport.

It may suprise you (it does me actually) that at one point, Naz was the P4P number one fighter on the planet.

Ofcourse, you're entitled to your opinion like everyone else but I think Joe Calzaghe is arguably the best fighter Great Britain has produced and I also think Ricky Hatton has maybe achieved more than Naseem too. Although, I loved watching Naseem. He was entertaining.

i think people disliked naz because of his personality, acting like a clown.

this makes you want to see him get his arse kicked, thus making you look past his own ability as every time he won the dissappointment of not seeing him get knocked out was stronger than the enjoyment of seeing him destroy someone else.

if that doesn't make sense what i mean is yes he was extremely skillful and had extraordinary power for a boxer of his size, BUT every time he fought i hoped he would get dropped.

khan on the other hand, may not have the natural ability of naz but because he acts quite humble most of the time, i actually watch his fights hoping he does a number on his opponents.
