PSM2 Magazine is out today, and they reviewed WE9 and gave it 91%. They said it was very hard and you have to forget everything you learned in PES4, but it was alot more rewarding and realistic.

its a lot more realistic, lot slower as well, but if you set your formation correct and soak up pressure the counter attack is excellent and works really really well

I could of course buy the mag but to me the pes review is the only thing I care about and I think I'm not the only one thinking this way so diss me if you like...
Otherwise... post us the scans and be a hero

Just go and read it in the shop that's what I did. The review said it was better then PES4 but at the end it said Better Than: WE8:LE Worse Than: PES4 and gave it only 91% :unsure: It was a pretty crap review anyway, they also said it was rock hard then later reckoned they scored 4 spinning volleys with Ronaldo in one game

I love this game, but im not that good since this is my first soccer/football game. Btw how do you run faster? I mean like run faster than usual. Oh and is there a patch that translated the nippo 2006 thing from jap to english, because the first thing that comes up is jap. Bu other than that i love this game so so so so much.

BTW: Arent PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER and WINNING ELEVEN the same...so why did the games get different ratings?

alright, this game is so awesome, best soccer game EVER!
alot harder than all the other WE/PES games, also alot different.

i've started a ML with the "create original team" function, the players i got were Wesley Sneijder, and Jermaine Defoe.

first match, i lost 0-1.. not a fantastic start to the season :D

second match. i won 2-0.. a fantastic longrange shot from Wesley Sneijder goes in the left corner of the opposition goal.
3 minutes later Jermaine Defoe seals the victory with a shot from the inside of the box.

third match. i drew 0-0.

fourth match. i lost 1-0

so yes, it isnt going utterly amazing, but i'm getting used to the new game, and can only say.. IT ROCKS!

by the way, these days I play a lot PES3 rather than PES4, as I don't like the unrealistic (easy) through pass then 1 on 1 goal.........and I am in Australia and did not chipp my ps2 so I only play PES......no WE

The Game is BACK.

Been playing it since saturday afternoon (Winning Eleven 9).
i must say this...its a bigger challenge than pes4 or any other pes game.
trying to muster a shot around the box is rare,the defence closes you down quicker around it ,and thats 3*.
Also the defence and goalkeeper like to play the ball around from the back.
Yes the game is a lot slower, the turn of the player is also,but its a good thing....plan your attack is the key to this little gem of a game.
At first couple of games i thought its sloooowww, but playing for 2 days its the dogs b*llocks.
Crisper detail graphics,hum dinger shots from the likes of scholes,gerrard 30 yards out.
The keepers also are alot better.
At the moment I WOULD SAY 90%.
But i have been playing pes4 since last October Around 2 hrs a day non stop.and for me its the best ps2 game around....at the moment! ,so my judgement is still a bit early.
