First timing a lobbed through

Hey all, I need tips on how to first time shoot a lobbed through ball. I'll often times get a 1 on 1 (with defender right on my tail) but I can never seem to get a hold on the ball when inside the box, the keeper often gets the loose ball.

Sometimes my players will do a half hearted diving header, or a jumping kick, but will almost never hit the ball. If I take the time to control the ball, the keeper will grab it.

Any tricks or tips you all can impart?

My exact same problem... I'm getting tired of placing a fantastib lobbed through ball that cuts straight through the defence, just to see my forward staring at the ball as it passes him and goes to the keeper's hands.

I don't think it's something I'm doing wrong, because I've tried to hit the ball in every possible way, but ended up with no luck...

I've been able to do it a couple of times.

1. Your player needs pretty good shot technique
2. The lobbed through has to come in at some sort of angle, if it's straight to the guy your passing too, it's unlikely you will get a good touch (all he can hit it with is the top of his laces)
3. You have to time it perfectly.

I suggest practicing it in training, but it's nice getting a goal this way as the other guy doesn't expect it.

I've done quite a few times by mistake. I tap the shoot button as the ball is about to land and my player scoops the ball over the on rushing keeper. Tends to be decent strikers that can dig those shots out though. Jelen is one of them.

I'm working on doing controlled shots now. Every time I play Pes, I work on new techniques. The other day it was attacking corners (moving your player manually makes corners almost too easy)

always gives me this feeling,whether the ball drops kind for you is random, i've had castolo score one from 30 yards out, and have higuain missing probably 1000 of those lol
