He was poor for me in the demo - average rating of around 7.1 and from around twelve matches he had no goals and one assist. Gourcuff and Seedorf were outperforming him so I decided once I got the game to get rid of him immediately as I've used the money to strengthen the team as a whole - which, with the money seemingly available to us without selling Kaka, is precisely what we should be doing in real life.

He looks great but the non-EU player rule is screwing me over. If I sign him at the end of my first season - Fluminense's Marcelo was my non-EU signing in advance of the opening season - then I can't sign anyone else. Still, he's probably worth it as he's a long-term replacement.
Nobody in my team is particularly useful at right-back, Cafu has barely played as he's awful and Simic and Bonera are poor at getting forward.

Problem with Caradenas is that he is already developed as as much as he can. But he's a brilliant little player though

Although I knew I couldn't afford him without selling one of my star players, I expressed an interest in Fernando Torres, and a minute later, Chelsea make a bid of 44m for him, and end up signing him.
They also signed David Silva (and put him straight in the reserves) and Robert Kovac after I showed an interest in them. Bastards.
They got their just rewards in the first game of the season, however. A 4-1 loss away to Man City, having been a goal up :shocking:

I managed to sign both of them for under £7m. Neither have featured as of yet, though, as Eboue is in good form. Van den Borre's versatility should prove useful, as most of my defenders are quite injury prone.

I signed Zaccardo in the demo but after a lot of thought. He didn't get a chance to play either so when the game came out I looked at signing him but after a lot of thought this time decided I wouldn't sign anyone to play at right-back until the end of the first season - and that I'd only sign Zaccardo if I couldn't find a good attacking wing-back. I'm not convinced he can do the job I need him to but I don't have hundreds of options either. Would've signed Barzagli (in central defence) but his teamwork is atrocious.
Have played 20 Serie A games so far and won all but one - a 1-0 home defeat to Atalanta. I'm six points clear of Palermo who in turn are four clear of Inter. The biggest shock is that Gattuso has been dropped from my strongest line-up and replaced by Massimo Ambrosini who is easily outperforming him.

Alexey Yeremenko. I managed to get him for Segunda side Oviedo somehow, and he is way too good for the division, all the opposing teams target him as the dangerman.
Advice to everyone looking for a cheap, young striker with a wee bit of potential: Sergey Voronov. Big, quite fast, and wins everything in the air. And he scores.

My Reading season ended in sadness, despite being 8th at the end of January I went through 12 games without a win and eventually slipped into an relegation battle. Just as I picked up form, my final 5 games were all away. On the final day of the season I was drawing 1-1 with a ten man Citeh, 87th minute, Karkouri gives away a penalty, 2-1, I'm relegated.:crymore:
The worst part came after, Newcastly finished 16th so I declared interest and was said to be the front runner by the press. They sacked Roeder, and I said I'd be extremely interested. But instead, they hired van Gaal, and in turn Reading sacked me for being unprofessional. So now I'm out of a job.:realmad:

You would hate to be at Valencia then. Joaquin, Vicente, Ayala are constantly getting injured, for at least 3 weeks per time, but despite that when I have them in my team I do very well.
Currently top of La Liga, six points ahead of Barca, due to Zaragoza hammering them 4-1 and Ive played about 26 games in all competitions so far and Ive only lost 3 times, only letting in 7 goals, and scoring freely. I had bought Larsson because I had started with 700k and he has scored 12 in 17, but I have shipped him to feeder club Charlton because I felt that I had got a good use from him for the first half of the season, with Morientes coming into fitness and the team again I had to ship Larsson out to sign a replacement (Ronaldo, fingers crossed) but hopefully someone younger.

Incase youre wondering who Tuia is, he is from Lazio, only 16 and my scouts said he would be a quality singing, so I snapped him up from Lazio, for around 200k, he comes into the team when possible and plays well
