Well, what can I say - it just...works. Load up game, give person the IP address it shows...get person to punch it in. Play.

I never could play FM 2005 online though for a reason I never found out.

Perhaps it something to do with his/your firewall settings?
All my firewalls are down and everything, just says can't find IP even though its right

I was messing around on the game the other week and my scouts reckon Billy Sharp could be as good as Kuyt :erm: You can never trust them though.

Strangely, Brian McBride always seems to have a storming first season in the Championship. Other than that some decent cheap players are Doudin, Cieluch, Haynes, Kisliy, Bertolina, Millan (if you get him early) and Sultan Cem (likewise with Millan). If you got a good amount of spare cash, you could go for Bojan, Higuain, Okaka or Daniel Sturridge. Although, I don't know if many of them will come.

Loan-wise, try Anichebe or Carlos Vela.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm not on a high cash (only about 820k) and tight wage budget, so hopefully one of the players will come

Loopy about Lupoli
My best purchases the first season were Halford from Colchester
Greg Halford got me promotion with Norwich and in Decemebr in my first season in the Premiership, he has been Player of the Month and is banging them in.
For CB, try Sidnei and Michel Schmoller from Brazillian clubs too. Daniel de las Heras is about 15, and a great prospect on my Atletcio game.
You have to wait a couple of years before they're 18 though.
Paul B, how did you get a online game working? I tried to with a mate in Melbourne but it never works?
I coule get network games to work on 06 but not on 07

Sultan Cem is so random it's unreal. On one game he was 6'4" with 15 finishing at 16 years of age, and on another he was 5'9" with 4 for finishing  Still had masses of potential though.

For network games on 07, you should download a program called hamachi, then set up a network with you and the person your playing with and that will give you a unique I.P address, which allows you to play FM07 easier using a network.

 Which reminds me; anyone remember CM 95/96?

Michael Owen was sometimes 17 years old, sometimes 30.

If we're talking CM, how good was Lionel Morgan on 03/04?!

20 pace, crossing and dribbling. Then high teens for most others, like 17 for finishing etc.

Boys, what type of disc will I need to be able to burn the 7.2 patch? I'm also hoping to burn some movies and songs, though they aren't that important.

Just finished that game the other day, got 5 years in i think.

Toni is a good investment in my opinion, but he fell off form all of the sudden. Lupoli is the shizzle though!

He was banging in goals for fun, he could have had more had he a decent midfield putting in balls.

Right, need some advice.

In my Milan game I play as two managers. The first, obviously, at Milan and will stay until sacked. Manager two, however, is a different story.

I started with Bosnia (how random) and with a series of miracles somehow won the 2008 European Championships. I promptly moved to Torino in Serie A and finished fifth in Serie A (ahead of the media prediction of 16th) and left for PSG. I took PSG to the French title and am now at the end of summer 2010. I managed to sign the likes of Stefano Mondini, Cristian Benavente (both on loan from my Milan side), Emiliano Vecchio, Clarence Seedorf and Luca Toni to strengthen the squad and add much needed depth. I've now received a surprise job offer from Juventus (who sacked Didier Deschamps after finishing 13th, Gianluca Vialli after finishing 9th and are now trying to replace Juande Ramos after finishing 6th). The reason I originally left Torino was because I hated playing two matches on the same day almost every round (at least with PSG most French games were on a different day to my Milan games in Italy).

I have no problem managing Juventus or doing as well as possible with them, even if it means beating my Milan side. I play each manager as an individual and games where I'm up against myself I have specific rules for how many times I can change a formation and when to keep it fair. As much as I hated playing games on the same day, I'm thinking about it a lot because, after all, it is Juventus and the thought of managing both Milan and Juventus at the same time is rather intriguing.

Anyway....who thinks I should go to Juventus and who thinks I should stay with PSG? I honestly cannot decide.

Why don't you save, take the job, then save that under a different file name. Carry on playing for a bit and if it becomes repetitive boot up the old game again?

Can't be arsed with going backwards once I've made the decision that's all.

There's a major challenge with Juventus as Del Piero is gone (from what I can tell), Trezeguet is 32 and not first-choice and they don't have too much money at present (and keep sacking coaches). But blah I made some great signings for PSG as I always build for the long-term. Grrr stupid job offer.

You've already won the title at PSG, so you might as well take the Juve job...unless you think you have unfinished business at PSG.

Stay at PSG until a better job offer comes. You wouldnt really stand a chance with Juve from what youve told me. You need top 5 on little money and a paper thin squad. Id wait til a better (or more interesting) offer comes along. Hope that helps.

Meecrob, Peter Halmosi might be worth a go for relatively cheap. He does great in the Championship, Although, if you're running a patch, then he won't be easy to get.
