Thanks mate. I'll leave my machine on overnight and see if it has downloaded in the morning. It has done 12% so far.

How much faster and better is downloading it via. Torrent? Is the size of the Torrent download still 0.98GB?

I'm just wondering because my signal strength is pretty poor to be frank.

Assistant feedback during the game is detailed and the 3D match engine looks nice enough that someone like me who has had matches going at full speed ever since the days of Championship Manager '93 is considering a slower, far more tactical approach to the game once it is released fully.

Whenever I click on the game it says 'Cannot load: Failed to set up graphics system'. What exactly does that mean, and is there anyway I can sort it out?

Make sure you have the latest DirectX and the latest drivers for your GPU (if you have one).

I have heard FM09 will be in DVD format as it will be too big for a CD. I know nothing about technology, so what does that mean for us, or does it mean anything?

Probably means that shitheads with ancient PCs won't be able to run it. Then again if the PC is that old it probably wouldn't be able to cope in the first place.

Just had a crack at the demo for the first and it's alright! The press conferences are cool and a great addition, so are the internal suggestions to your players. Browsing through seems fast, however it suddenly fucks up once I start a match.

The game view fucks up and goes really slow (on both views) and a lot of the time, there is nothing shown at all on the pitch. It just turns into a blank pitch but the match is still running as you can see on the bar at the bottom progressing.

I am quite concerned and confused whether my PC's spec isn't good enough or it's just something wrong with the demo which hopefully is resolved in time for the release of the proper version. Football Manager 2008 works perfectly fine on my machine :erm:

Is anybody else experienced anything like this on their machine? :fplm::no:
