Yeah, it sounds Impossible.. but really, if Bill Gates was bored with his life and wanted to produce a great Football Sim, he could buy his way to it.
It is 99.9% Impossible -but- if someone with the right connections, right amount of Money, etc, etc.. wanted to do such a thing, Why Not??

my best mate's family own a huge section of melbourne, basically 2 whole suburbs and they have an insurance firm aswell. they have maserati's, big house, all the stuff loaded people have LOL. what im doing at the moment inbetween reading comments here is finding out all the red tape i need to cut and how the whole process works.
-3000 PC games were made in 2002 only around 100 - 150 were profitable
-only 50 made significant money - i.e SIMS
-1 - 5 million back in 2002 to develop a game
-250k - 1.5 million for the publisher to market the game.
- developer takes anywhere from 10 - 25 percent for royalty
- 1.5 mil upfront to developer b4 the commencement of making the game
this is all the figures for a PC PLATFORM game

hey his dad is greedy for more money. if i can provide a the proof that money can be made and that he will make money he will invest. but i will have to persuade him into it. so ill have to continue with my research and have a detailed outline of the game and every thing with all the processes and present it nice and proffessional to his dad i dont see why he wouldnt. it like the stock market but if i can show him their is no risk and high rewards who wouldnt invest in it. but also i wouldnt con him either just to make it if it wasnt going to be profitable to him in the long run.

Before you make yourself ridiculous.. why dont you be smarter and make a pilot.

Your have more chance of writing EA or Konami 1 letter a day for things that u want in the game then doing all this stuff..
Konami cant even get the licenses and EA is a big compagnie that:
A buys al the good programmers, marketeers and they already started to listen to the community... By the time u are all set up, we have moved on to better things... Like ps4..
Or a script for you football game?

once you have the intial 3d engine you are a go. it like every business it takes time to make money. 40 pound a pop X 1 mil isnt bad , even 500k people.
its not the 5 or 6 people on here that will convince him its the fact that soccer apeals to a large audience and if you tap into it you can make money. if every footy fan in the world gave you a dollar you would prob be a billionaire. the fact of the matter is their is only 2 footy game makers on console and they have equal share of the market. to ea fifa is their little cash cow and they only gave it a rev up last year. so im expecting another 5 years of average to none improvements. and same goes for Konami but i beleive its closer maybe only 3 years away from a shake up with the game. they have it to easy and we are the suckers, they dont care about us. they dont. thats why im driven to develop this new game.

your insane mate im dooing programming in uni and have done other graphical stuff and im sorry its not easy at all you need to devote your life almost to making games etc....... i think you are totally of the planet

the only hard thing is money and i reckon i have that covered. also dont get cought up in the modes either cos what i have planned blows pes and fifa away.
