i didnt have robbie carlos or beckham in my team..so i tried taking freekicks with rooney.its wonderful..u need to take freekicks with two player.pass then press up then shoot..can do it on long range freekicks.try it!!

I don't like Nakamura, Recoba and Van Persie's technique. They tend to drill it too hard.

I find with the curl and power they can get on the ball, they are the best free kick takers.

Naka definately. I always aim for nearest top corner, without any direction. 30% go in, the rest usually result in corners which on PS3 are piss easy to score from.

Aimar for argentina scored 2 free kicks on 1 game with the man his stats dont appear to be so good but when you get it right its like the best feeling ever

Im suprised no one has mensioned the Bayern Munichen winger by the name of Bastian Schweinsteiger. Played a cup yesterday with Inter, had Bayern first game he scored a 35+ yard goal and another 30yard against me. My ones are these in no order

I play ML with fix player and I dont take many free-kicks myself, if I´m not ahead with two goals or so.. anyways.. I bought this guy Abe (mf) who curls in every free-kick closer than 25 yards!! Can´t tell you how many times he´s saved my ass struggling with my team in div2!

I used to score them for fun on Pro Evo 6 but I rarely ever get them in usung the same controls in PES 2008.

Can someone just go through what they do for me?
Do you hold any of the shoulder buttons whilst taking them?
push up for more power?
Use 50% power?

Any ideas welcome!
