Game crashing?

Hi,
Recently when i play pes 2010 it has crashed and ive had to turn off my ps3. It has ONLY crashed on the entrance scene before the match.
It happened to me 3 times and on my brothers ps3 aswell, has it happened to anyone else?

Ive had this problem more than 3 times and it only happens in the tunnel scene and I dont have the update for the kits etc.....ill be suprised if Konami get this fixed soon!

Oh my god. This better not happen to me. Hopwfully you guys had saved your game recently, or did you have to load and play 10 matches or so?

luckily for me 2 times from the 3 it happened just as i return to my master league save. (meaning when i have just put the ps3 back on for the first time in the day to continue were i last saved it)

Don't know if this has a link to anything but the games where it froze were against Liverpool,Man City & Portsmouth...

Well this sounds shit from Konami, not sure how they haven't tested this. The best solution is to write off to them, stating that it's a common problem with PES gamers on the PS3 and you never know, they might be willing to make an exchange.

Maybe also take it back to the shop you bought it and have it replaced since it could be just a batch of the discs faulty.

im not one for complaining about a game i either say yes/no to wether i like it or not,
I like the game so far but this is abit of a problem as i thought it was a one off but obviously it isnt just me!
im gonna e-mail them and we shall see whats what.

Has happened to me about 3 seperate times, when I pressed start to skip the entrance scene, by the time they walk to the tunnel it froze up.

This happened to me back in PES08. What I did was clear all the jerseys, logos and other crap followed by an installation to the HD.

Give that a shot or format your entire PS3 (backup your porn) and then try again.

Good luck with getting a response from Konami. I'm still waiting on an answer to my substitution bug question for my PS2 from last year's game.
