I may trade in Dead Rising or my PS2 version of PES6 for it, can't wait to see what it's like though.

Well having just finished playing it for a bit, i can say my first impressions are its impressive IMO.
Just completed CoD3 yesterday on hard, going to go through it again on veteran to get the extra points, well into a season on Raw vs Smackdown 2007 and now onto this, its been a damned good week for video gaming.

Having played it here on both a normal widescreen and a hd widescreen, obviously its so much better hd, but it still looks great on a normal tv.
I wasn't overly impressed with the screenshots i saw on various sites so was pleasantly surprised when they looked better in person.
Although, its nothing innovative in the field of gameplay.
Run, shoot, cover behind various objects (rocks, pillars etc...), pop up shoot etc... it is a good blast to play.
The "perfect" reload system is quite a nice addition, click rb to start reload and time the second click well for a fast crisp load to save time.
For people who want maximum longevity out of it I'd recommend it mainly to people wanting to play it on XBL or co-op as once you've completed the single player game (3 times (casual, hardcore & insane) if you're wanting the gamer points) there isn't really much to keep you coming back other than collecting all 30 cog tags which you'll probably do along the way anyways. Thats just my opinion though.

i preordered off play.com, i don't think they have it in stock yet though.
hope they post it 2moro so it comes 4 friday.
they usually get new games early, such as smackdown which they had in stock last tuesday for it be released last friday.

I don't know how to describe this game to be honest. :shocking: You have to play itself to truly appreciate it's brilliance. Curb stomping is a thing of beauty.
I might save the multi-player side of things until a few mates get it. There is only 2 player co-op though, which is a bit of a bummer compared to Rainbow 6's 4 player.
