Ok i know a lot of u guys are gonna say s*** to me but the main reason i buy soccer games are to play online and pes's online SUCKS!!! I mean i like all the features in the game like CL and europa league and i dont even mind the gameplay but the online is terrible. Im not saying pes sucks or anything like that but i can't stand online anymore so i gotta go with fifa.

dont know why you felt the need to tell us this but............I done the same.
PES is dreadul online but FIFA is superb. 100% lag free. Dont get me wrong the game is still souless but Ive played my mates online and its good fun.
I still have PES for the Master League as I feel playing the FIFA against the AI is far too scripted.

fifa 10 online is only good in online clubs but they ruined tht this year, i prefer offline anyway and PES has it in the bag this year

the thing with fifa is that its quite hard to dribble past players which means you will need some kind of a good build up to score. But in PES dribbling its too simple when you have messi and C.ronaldo. Its quite unrealistic to be honest because C.ronaldo has never ever dribbled past 4 players and in PES I do it many times if I have the space. There is no body collision! in real life puyol who is slower than C.ronaldo will still be able to stop him because he will throw him off balance, might be a foul, but its something that you see in Fifa and never in PES. PES players just skin through magically... where is the pushing? Fifa has like so many kinds of fouls from shirt grabbing to pushing opponent away with your hands. PES has about 2 kind of fouls, either slide tackle or late standing tackles...

So what you're saying is pretty much, FIFA 10 has more animations than PES 10 which we all know about. FIFA 10 also offers better fluidity and freedom, but when it comes to actual gameplay and the way to score goals, International Superstar Soccer 64 is better than FIFA 10.
One thing I don't like in FIFA 10 is you can simply walk up to a opposing player and get the ball. How is this realistic ?? In PES 10 or every other PES & WE game you actually have to DEFEND and get the ball. That's something that FIFA never had. I'm sorry but getting the ball back by simply coming close to your opponent is totally unrealistic. I get as much as pride when defending and trying to get ball back as when I score a good screamer.
FIFA 10 is a one dimensional game, where CPU tells you what to do. Every goal you see in a real match on TV can be duplicated and scored THE SAME WAY on PES 10 (or any other PES & WE).
Can this be done with FIFA 10. I say no.
So, PES 10 kills FIFA 10 gameplay period. Any person with a half brain knows thins. And its funny when folks say PES sucks and FIFA 10 has better gameplay. These are the people who never played REAL football, never watched real derby match, champions league final, euro cup, world cup etc. They do not know what it takes to win a match and a true satisfaction you get when you score a goal. When I score in FIFA 10, its like 'whatever', but scoring in PES 10 almost gives you cardiac arrest lol.
Few things I do like in FIFA 10:
- online mode. I doubt Konami will ever match this.
- 360 deg. movement. Full freedom.
- More animations (just copy FIFA 10's animations)
- Manual controller settings
- Full FIFA license.
When Konami, if ever achieve this, I think FIFA will go out of business.

In pes 2010 you can't dribble past 4 players, not even with ronaldo and messi.

if you play PES 2010 online you will see how easy is to dribble with messi and C.ronaldo. The game is good but like I said, the one big thing missing in PES is better body collisions, more realistic fouls. How is a back sliding tackle not a red card? sometimes its not even yellow! There was a version of PES back in 2003 or 04 I forgot which has plenty of fouls and dribbling seemed very very hard since even if you get past that defender he will bring you down (not with a slide tackle, just normal pushing around), this should still be implemented into the game. Now the game is much more fun when its played with smaller teams because without Messi, the user actually have to find other ways of breaking the defense instead of the run run run run run back pass to Ibrahimovic, goal!!!

For win against Barza you need to put 3 mens in the line of messi and when hi has the ball go with BAD INTENSIONS...
Against madrid its really difficult for smaller teams, because there is Kaka, Ronaldo and Benzema... 3 superhuman players...
I really think that the goals with Messi, CR9 or kaka must value 0.5 in PES 2010... play against them with teams like Sporting, Manchester, Atletico, even Inter its a Joke...
Maybe KONAMI can release a patch for playing online without Barza and Madrid... a Medium Class teams online league for the REAL GOOD PES PLAYERS... in these days even a little boy can win with Madrid against me... and i play PES for the last 10 years...maybe i am not the best player, but i know how to play it...
Its really annoying playing online ... all the stupids have Barza and Madrid...its impossible to play a decent Champions League...
I play with Valencia or Inter and i have 145/37/53 record... but when is Madrid in front i really need to put all in the game....its really difficult win, even against bad players.... more with the button online fucking lag....

I dont think fifa has more annimations, they have some specific ones but the actual movement of the players is like its own entity. Like in GTA when you move its organic, fluid and natural. It doesn't follow a set of strict annimations like pes. The computer sort of works out how to move the player in a slick way depending on a variety of things. There's just simply an unlimited amount of annimations. In pes say you have running annimation 1 it just has 1 quick movement and it repeats it over and over until you activate another animation like turn etc which is why it seems robotic and for people to be like "pes just needs more annimation" your in koo koo land. Ok more annimations could make it better but pes will never, never escape its robotic feel.
Fifa 2010 online is just insanely good and never gets boring. I played 09 up till the release date of 10 and i will keep playing 10 for ages. Its just so good being able to pick from any team i basically want and the best thing is they are all playable. If i pick Lazio and get my tactics right i could take down som1 with Madrid. In pes unless i stick 11 men and the team aeroplane on the line and have sniper outposts on the roof of the stadium i wont stop Ronaldo from scoring.
Thats why i like fifa. I can be anyone and no player is unplayable. Yes pes has player indiviuality and it can be great but with player individuality it seems they loose team individuality. In fifa arsenal feel like arsenal, everton feel as strong a real life everton would be in comparrison to liverpool and teams like Birmingham are noticeably not as good as Chelsea without the game being unplayable. In pro evo if im anyone other than a big team i'll loose out in almost every situation and i can neither pass my way through a big team due to a complete lack of ability to pass the ball well and fluidly and i cant outrun the big team so it just end up being a 5-0 drumming online and off.
Pes offline though is a class act and the shooting is off its face good but online is where its at these days. The only games i have i play online and unless pes sorts out itself it just wont have any life to it. Fifa has encapsulated me for a year and a half now and thats just online. If fifa just improves on shooting and.....tbh thats about it rly. Shooting is the only thing that bothers me. Ok so they need to improve shooting whereas pes has a list of things that could take a millenium to write. Roboticness, nets etc, online, the list goes on. Pes will be a great game im sure in the future but how are people willing to wait. Fifa has overtaken pes and i cant imo see pes getting back infront and in world where you only realistically need 1 football game your gona get the 1 thats obviosuly better.
