Due for release on March 16th in the States. Hoping for a worldwide release, but the same week would do just fine.

Think this thread was on page 6 of Other Gaming, there's loads of great games with threads that have about 2 replies.

God of War, was fuckin' brilliant. God of War II, was fuckin' brilliant with sugar on top. God of War III, should be fuckin' brilliant with Kelly Brook on top!

It's kind of you to call me God Of War III!

The Demo of GOW3 felt too samey to me. Hoping there are some surprises in there.

I remember playing GOW1 and GOW2 on the PS2. Probably the two best games I've ever played on it.

Cannot wait for the third game. It's the only game alongside GT5 I'm really looking forward to this year.

Never played a GOW game until the GOW III demo the other day. It was awesome, think I will be buying this game, need to start Heavy Rain though first! :)

OMG, if the PSP version of God of War is this epic, I have no idea how immense the PS2 and PS3 versions will be.

Just playing through Chains of Olympus and already I have fought boss fights that would probably make up the end game battle in a lesser title. It has taken me a long time to try out the GoW series, and already I feel like i've missed out on a lot.

The PS3 collection of the first two is around £25 on ebay, me thinks i'll be picking them up sometime soon, and of course, the PS3 version looks insanely awesome.

I adored the previous two titles. They both rank among my favorite games of all time. But the God of War III demo left me feeling a little underwhelmed, if I'm honest. It hasn't lost any of what made the previous gameplay great but, at the same time it doesn't seem to have aquired anything new to add to it. It seems to be a more polished third helping with a stunning graphical overhaul. I can't complain too much about that. And I shall still purchase it to see Kratos' story through 'til the end, while enjoying ever single brutally destructive visceral slice n' dice of his foes. But for the scores it's getting you'd think it had redefinded the genre and absolutely smashed the previous titles into the dust, which I don't think a graphical overhaul and a lot of polish warrents.

Alas, the full game may be so much more, though.

Ok, it was short (6 hours long) but every second of Chains of Olympus felt fucking epic as hell; stabbing cyclops in the eye, ripping the winds off harpies, crushing a basilisk with towers, fighting the ferryman.....the list can go on.

I'm gonna go get the first 2 now =]

buy the GOW collection for PS3 on eBay instead. Better graphics and what not.

Has anyone picked this up then? I'm thinking of importing the remastered versions for £30 as I'm yet to play them and don't want to buy this until I have.
