In that case I would have jumped out of my window!
It was "just" 0-0....
At 20 min I was already with 10 shots....
Lots of 1 on 1 chances, long shots, crossing shots, headed shots, shots from corners.... it just wasn't meant to be.
I figured some of your defenders tried the god damned diving header in order to clear a ball. I've seen my defenders do that and put the ball squarely in their own goal. :realmad:

I've had matches like this too. Often the AI scores with their only real attack. You could have about 15 shots on target and only manage a 1-1 draw. Some would say "that's football", which is true.... but we all know it's cheating 
I had a match online yesterday (Fulham(me) vs Ajax). I battered him 4-0, had many shots on target, he had 0 shots on target and had the nerve to call me lucky just because a couple of goals were rebound. He was a bit of a **** though. My final goal was a lovely Mark Schwarzer penalty.... just to take the piss because he was committing fouls all over the place.

It is stats like this that makes me believe that the end results are scripted. They say the accuracy of your shots depends on the body balance of your player-I say bull- I had a screamer with Rooney last night,about 25 -30 meters from the goal post and scored. Guess what, Rooney was facing the goal post with his back. The shooting animation of that goal was just awkward to say the least and never should have been a goal. I believe most of the results/goals are scripted.

Yeah that toooo. At times I apparently chipped the ball(according to the commentators) where as I know for sure it wasn't the case.

No not that the commentary was wrong as such- the cpu actually performed a chip shot on my behalf which is proof that even your shots/goals are scripted. Well maybe not all the time but at times, yes.

Wow, never thought about that. I experience the exact same thing. Also the (o) button at times performs a long shot instead of crossing. I thought my controller is finished.

This is really frustrating. Why does Konami have to do it like that. Normally when you want to chip you press/hold triangle and square.
I don't know man, it's been like this for several iterations of PES now. The high chip shot is hold LB or LT, I can't remember, while you shoot. I don't remember ever chipping the way you mentioned.
And now that you guys mention it, two times I have scored by pressing the pass button! I got really close to either post of the goal to lure the keeper out and the idea was to pass it to my CF that was standing all alone in the center of the box but instead my player shot it in between the keepers feet. I must say the plays looked sweet, but i pressed the PASS button not the SHOOT!
