I don't know man, it's been like this for several iterations of PES now. The high chip shot is hold LB or LT, I can't remember, while you shoot. I don't remember ever chipping the way you mentioned.

And now that you guys mention it, two times I have scored by pressing the pass button! I got really close to either post of the goal to lure the keeper out and the idea was to pass it to my CF that was standing all alone in the center of the box but instead my player shot it in between the keepers feet. I must say the plays looked sweet, but i pressed the PASS button not the SHOOT!

Lucky you. As for me I scored one own goal last night when I was back passing using (x) to the keeper. The keeper just stood there while the ball went through his legs and then he moron-like run after it.

Yeah, that's the same but that's a high chip shot. A low chip shot is performed by pressing the run button after the shoot guage appears.

I could and should have won about 30% more games Online ranked but my finishing is letting me down bad.I will keep practicing though!
