Awesome game. Very addictive.

Thanks. I'll wait it out a bit and try actually get good at GH3 then maybe get the others.

Anyone got any tips at how to get good? Right now I'm below average :(
I do try...

All you gotta do is practice. That's the obvious thing and is the only way you truly progress. Go into training and practice the parts slowed down, this is a great help.

Also, getting really good at hammer ons and pull offs will be a great help the further you get. I'm not sure what song to practice those on in GH3 because I don't have it unfortunately, but something relatively simple. You'll slowly get better and be amazed and some of the shit you can puff off eventually.

And obviously learn alt strumming, I read some people go through the whole of medium 100% alt strumming to teach themselves. Then again this information could be totally irrelevant as you could have done all of this shit already :)

No, I haven't. Thanks a lot, man. I'm taking it round a mates tomorrow so I really don't want to be shown up by people who don't even have the game.

Wait...
My advice is learn to play a real guitar because playing guitar hero isn't anything like playing an actual guitar, so I'm told. It may be a fun game for a few weeks but being able to play a real guitar is so much cooler. ;)

:D I did actually, "That's gay Mr.Kyle, guitar's are for old people." I was laughing my bollocks off. Straight away after watching that episode I had to learn that song that they were playing at the start of the episode, it was by Kansas I believe.

Haha, that was a bit of a tune.

Loved the bit where he's in his pants and those the peace sign.

Wait...
And when stan and that longish haired kid were at lunch and the kid started playing the plastic guitar, and the guy was like "Oh I love this song" and started clapping along. Brilliant.

Hahaha. I laughed out loud at that part too.

Still over all it was a bit of a let down, the episode.

Anyone playing this on the PS2? Does it take ages for the game to load? I had to watch the loading screen for about 3-5 minutes before I can start playing

Wait Here, Gone for Help
Does anyone know where I can get an extra controller for relatively cheap. It's for the 360 by the way

eBay , depends what one you want e.g the GH2 guitar or the GH3 guitar , the GH2 guitar would probably be cheaper

Awesome game... but has anyone else suffered any injury whilst playing?

After a particularly long session i noticed a painless tingling feeling in my left forefinger. My doc buddy advised me to play less as it would appear i have caused a 'compression' injury to the nerve where it passes the knuckle!

Downloaded the No Doubt track pack last night off PSN, the Don't Speak track quality goes a bit crappy towards the end.

I downloaded it and mine is fine, but then again it's on the Sexbox. How much did it cost on the PS3?

I also got Aerosmith - Dream On whilst it was free for the first few days of it's release
