Had to quit Master League, Nearly done with this game.

I'm done with this shit game, honestly man, the CPU AI is a JOKE. I'm conceding the most REDICULOUS GOALS ive seen in any game of football EVER. Including.

- The keeper rushing out to a ball rolling along the floor and going about a good 5 yards AWAY from goal, he then saves the fucking ball right into the path of messi who crosses for villa to score.

-Marchionni surrounded by about 5 players.... none of them tackling him, he curls a shot onto the post, the ball comes off the post hits the keeper in the back...goal.

- Get a PK in a key game, GK will conveniently guess right

- My defenders stop still or move away from the ball to allow CPU a one on one.

- Keeper makes a save, 5 defender around the keeper LITERALLY stand still whilst striker goes in a take a point blank shot.

-Free kick bug is STILL there.

- Winning against Barca , barca hit ball toward my keeper, i press shoot to blast the ball with my keeper back up field, keeper tries to take ball and dribble it into Barca attacker to give a goal away.

- Striker on the goal line, shoots from close range at keeper, ball miraculously deflects of keeper whist staying perfectly straight so it can go towards goals, keeper spends half an hour on the floor, gets up, but the ball has gone about 0.00000000000000000000001 mm over the line, another cheap CPU goal.

-Beating Barca AGAIN......this time at home, 88th min after flawless defending, Raul Abiol decides to stand still and lets bojan go through him, barca shoot, keeper saves, Perfectly saves it into path of Bojan.............1-1.

-CB decides to go wondering halfway up the field and Xabi Alonso decides to play CB, then watches as players go past him.

FUCKING DISGRACE, I never lost a single league game, but the AI cheating in this game is very close to PES2008 levels, its unreal. Fuck this fucking game and fuck Konami, you know they wont patch this shit, 2010 and they cant make a fucking decent A fucking I.

It's sad to hear this, because fifa 11's AI is the same if not worse.
Believe me when I say it.
Anyway, it's really sad to see that both football titles suffer from serious AI problems.

My friend when you wrote your first message I thought it was me typing it, I knowexactly what you mean however there is a reason why this is happening, human error... humans made the game so thegame is as good as it gets I think the little cheats that the cpu is quite good because let's face it winning every game forseasons upon seasons is boring and to be honest the kind of goals that get conceded are almost lifelike for instance van der sars fluff cost man utd which in game ud never expect from him it just goes to show that human error is always there and nothing is perfecr I mean I played fifa 11 for 2 weeks and its got somegood bits but its so bloody boring so hate itor love the underdogs on top...

I ranted and raved about the ML in a previous thread and surprise surprise I got people slinging crap at me for whinging. I TOTALLY agree with you Tech, I quit my ML after the half way point of the season.

Why?

Too flipping easy to buy good players but then stupid and lazy AI ruining defending. I'm not sure if this has happened to you but I've scored more own goals on PES2011 than ANY other of PES and I mean really stupid own goals as opposed to poor play by myself.

For example ..

Defender belting the ball against my own keeper on more than occasion ..

Placing a defender on the post and rather than heading the ball clear the keeper pushes the ball onto the defender and the ball goes in the net!

Clearing the ball in the penalty area and absurdly my defender is stopped mid-animation as a limb from another player passes through my defender skewing the ball into my own net. F**king annoying!

EDIT: Oh and another thing, keepers are awful beyond belief, the amount of shots parried shots that lead to goals! Argh! That and pressing and holding the triangle button for my keeper to run forward but theres always delay in the response time meaning the keeper never makes it on time!

Well, last year a lot of people complained that the computer was not scoring enough goals. Apparently it´s hard to program an AI that is both dangerous and absolutely fair. And in all honesty, the AI has always cheated in PES.

No problem, Im not good enough to go online, I dont play football games as much as I used to, Fucking Mrs Tech starts bitching and complaining, I like one player or playing people face to face like back in the day.

I hear online is good this year actually, in terms of stability. true?

Guess what, after 2 games of professional, back on top player, I would never concede ever on professional and would win all the damn games..........

Ive started another Master league on professional, if its too easy, im done with this game me thinks, which is a shame because there is alot about it i love.

Im afraid to say that you will find it too easy after coming off of top player

Yep don't go on Professional you can get to the top of the top league with the default master league team, I started as Professional to get to grips with the new controlling system and romped D2 before getting to 3rd in the Prem after signing 4 players all from the youth team by mid season. way WAY too easy.

Yes, it's all true, the AI can't score a single goal without cheating and abusing the horrible defense and player switching.

They don't even react to L1/LB+Pass ( to make a run ) a lot of times...

With all these flaws it's 4/10, without it it's like 9/10. It's just so insanely gamebreaking and you know that everytime you go back to the game you're going to have some fun in the start and end up in the serial killer mood.

So have fun yo!

I've no problem with the KI to be honest (playing on Top Player), you just need to be careful und use your chances, if you dont use your chance than the AI will get one!

I HAVE NEVER LOST A DOMESTIC LEAGUE GAME ON TOP PLAYER.

Its not about taking chances, its about blatant cheating every single game, and for me its EVERY GAME, Almeria's CF just scored a near post volley in the 88th min and most top players in the world could NEVER score from there.

Because Winning games is not the be all and end all, having a game where the AI is realistic is just as important if not more important, there's no fun in being 2-0 or 3-o up and then conceding a dodgy goal.

Both are dumb, and it's not by accident or coincidence.

FIFA10 had smart AI -- too easy to score to score goals, one-on-one situations all over the place.

You can make the AI smart but it will never change the fact that the game is dumb at its very core, where it matters the most.

Simple, neither Konami nor EA Sports have replaced the FAMICOM FOUNDATION.... they are adding bells and whistles to it, adding details, but there you have the repercussions: dumb AI, too easy to score, to easy to adapt, laser passing, AI cheating to make a dumb game more difficult than it should be, etc, etc.

It will never be fixed, if they do not replace the FAMICOM FOUNDATION, these niggling flaws or massive flaws will never be fixed.
