I'm guessing it's an onboard videocard and you're playing from a laptop? Then the amount of memory shared from the RAM for the video card it's controlled by the settings in the BIOS. You might want to reboot and check it out, although memory alone won't do much difference.

reboot your computer and go into your BIOS (usually with f8 or f12), look for a setting like AGP APERTURE or something similar, change it from 64mb to 512

Make sure you don't have any power saving programs on. Like in Nvidia control panel, there's an option to reduce the power being used by the GPU. Search for something similar on your PC. Also, make sure you have the correct drivers installed. Last thing would, maybe, unfortunately for you, your total video memory(=Dedicated+Shared) actually was 512 MB. And the picture above is showing the dedicated memory only.

Try restore Bios to default!!
or
uninstall drivers and also use driver sweeper
reinstall drivers!!
or
try a different pc-i lane if possible!!

p.s you cant change how much vram youre card has got unless its a onboard gpu

try the "advanced chipset features" see if you can find anything related to changing from 64mb to 512mb on your video memory
