OK, so the weirdest thing happened the other day when I was playing Pro Evolution Soccer 3. I was playing an exhibition game with my mate and there was about 65 minutes gone. I took a shot which went over the bar and Peter Brackley goes "that is the end of the game", and the game ended, just like that. No teams had any players sent off, it just ended. I still don't know why that happened, unbelievable! Has this happened to anyone else?

Did the Match stats for players show them all playing for 65 or 90 mins?

It sounds like a 'misread' sort of error somewhere along the line, unless your free-kick injured a spectator in a freak accident.

I wonder, would the console have misread the time (or some other trigger, maybe) in that one match, or did it think that games should last 65 mins?

I found a rule breaker, after mis-kicking a free-kick, the ball rolled short and the taker just ran onto the ball himself. Illegal!!

No, I never rented the game. I bought it when it came out.

After the game ended I did check the individual game records and all the players had played 65 minutes.

ooh talkin of wierd things the other day in a ml match newcastle cleared the ball out so gerrard jumped up and passed it back in to davids using his nuts

[I think its a console error. Like my PS2 which is very old and fucked , kit can make its own ptroblems and this is the console messing up by errors in the cpu. This is why my Pes3 has gone a bit whacky. Its a simple case that the console is having errors etc. I think this is the case anyway.

I think this coz my ps2 playus fine on my mates Ps2 but on mine it is very slow, sluggish and makes some very wierd and strange decisions, when my players have the ball.

I know it sounds wierd but it must be.

2002 World Cup there was one first half goal in Uruguay vs. Senegal.
Rebounded off the underside crossbar but awarded. Must be cos keeper had given up, thought it was a goal....!
