Home Field Advantage

I don't think this has been mentioned. If it has, I'm terribly sorry.

Anyhow, I think every team's overall stats should be slightly boosted if they are playing home. However, for teams that are known for their homefield prowess like Chelsea, Boca Jrs or Liverpool, they should have their stats even more boosted if they are playing at home.

I don't agree that all players playing at home should have their stats boosted. I think there should be more put into the crowd, e.g Fans booing and whistling when the away team has possesion then cheering when they give the ball away, misplace a pass out of play etc. There should also be a much bigger volume in home fans cheering for goals than away fans.

They have this PES 2009 to an extent.

I don't see this in any pro..

The crowd always sounds the same home or away.. I want to se reactions like booing on the away team and louder cheers when the home team do stuff
if your winning 3 nil at home i'd like to hear the crowd shout ole after every touch until intercepted lol

This is an utterly insane idea.

Go away at once and slice your fingers off so that you can no more darken this suggestions thread with such game wrecking comments. Just the thought of someone at Konami reading this and thinking 'hey, that sounds likea good idea' makes my teeth grind.

I take it you didn't like the shielding the ball out of bounds idea as well?

Not really. There are enough n00bish tactics that a gamer can employ as it is without adding more to the fray. And besides, such 'delicacies' would be mere trimmings other than intrinsic gameplay functions. Like the sort fo thing that FIFA was peddling for years without much critical success (until FIFA 08/09 came along on consoles that is).

But think about your Home advantage suggestion? Think about the controversy it would cause? Think about all the people (i.e. the majority of people) who are playing this game multiplayer? There are more than enough unwanted hidden hands in the games AI as it is without adding more.

I was just thinking about a slight homefield advantage, but yeah, I can see people getting upset over it. Oh well, I guess we'll pass on it.

The game should have a mental state of the whole team sort of. This is the one that effects home and away matches.

I definitely think that in derby games both teams aggression and other mental stats should get a boost. It could possibly be developed in master league games so if you played a team loads in ML (Chelsea v Barca or Chelsea v Liverpool stylee) it would happen then too.

to be perfectly honest i think theres already a home advantage already in league mode ,its hardly noticable as its also linked to momentum ,if they start well ,your struggling but once you start knocking the ball around ,and push them back it plays normal again ,the AI tries to get an early goal and sit back ,but i genuinely think its only in league mode never noticed it in master league or cup mode ,altho in cup mode ,they do tend to tweak the opposisition stats and referee the further you progress

which i think spoils the game horribly

according to konami, PES10 contains crowd reactions depending on the match. unless you have any ides of what the crowd should chant, such as 'ole' in the final 3 minutes of the game if the game is won, then there is no need anymore to beg konami to add crowd reactions to the game.

i'm just sayin:):):)

maybe playing at home could give the team an increased chance of good condition? like more red arrows, for example.
