^Nice one.
I am now in season 5 with Manchester utd. Playing as a RMF. This is great. THEY ARE 10* BETTER THAN LIVERPOOL.
In the offseason (in season 4), I played in the euro cup. We won it. I got these awards
Player of the tournament
team of the tournament member
top scorer
top assist
Basically all the awards possible.
Now, all I WANT IS TO BECOME THE EPL TOP ASSIST and I'll have all possible awards from EPL.

that's why i stopped playing BAL. even master league lets you reach 99..

It's not such a big deal.

If you really want to increase your stats beyond 95, just use a Legend Editor.

However, you do need the PC version for this.

95 is good for me any more i would run tru the whole team with ease top player as well i think its good it stays their otherwise you would get dicks that take their legend online and try runn all over the place i score 60+ season on top player now for me thats way to easy 20 30 goals a year is what real life players are geting i would be happy with that to be honest iff i had 99 than 80 goals a year that would kill the fun off the game for me. as it is i stop scoreing goals and started to help teamates get some goals i could play and score avrage 2 goals a game weres the fun in that tho

personlay i liked it better when my player was 18 to 21 i had to work hard in matches to get the ball and play a team game now i have the power to change a game in a blink off an eye and it fells a bit easy to be honest when i score a goal when i was young i would run around my house celebrating my goals lol but now i just bang them in left right centre with easy i need a new level konami please

why would you want to go to 99 for have you made a player with stats on 99 for everything have you not seen how damm easy it is to play like that have you not relized that you can run past everything on the pitch football is a team game not a one man show people .

i completely agree. in my career i am deliberately not allowing my guy to get that good for a challenge. making him pretty average infact. it's much more rewarding and a bit more of a challenge. i call it Become a real legend.

Well, just a quick recap of my third BAL.

English little twat named Chris Brandt, naturally a Second Striker but have been utilized as a Target Striker just as much.

Joined Middlesbrough for whom I stayed with for two and a half years. Formed a really good partnership upfront with Afonso Alves. Didn't score too much in the opening season but got a few assist to my name.

Played with Aston Villa for half a season before Liverpool came along and there's where I am right now.

The only thing I've won as of yet is a Masters Cup trophy and a World Cup medal. But this years Liverpool team is real classy so I expect that we can challenge Chelsea for the title (during the first three years, Chelsea won the title with atleast 10-15 points ahead of number 2nd in the standings.)

Tell me about it.

Took me 12 playing seasons spread out on three different BALs before Liverpool came along.

i've been really lucky - started BAL again and signed for West Ham. Played only two seasons with them and literally right on the very last day of the transfer window, after finishing runners up in the world cup, Tottenham came in for me so i jumped at it since they're "my" team in real life.

So i'm not too worried about things now, apart from my substitution time being set for 50 minutes - even though i'm scoring goals for fun at the moment, i still get taken off 5 minutes into the 2nd half.

Or, as has just happened recently, dropped all together and brought on in the 2nd half ..

Created a am in regular difficulty.
started out in Wigan,I didnt like playing there much.Mido got me so frustrated. He would miss every chance I gave him.
Luckily Fulham gave me a offfer.I found it much easier to play there. We got to the final in the UEFA cup but lost narrowly.

Transferred to Arsenal and won the league with them before moving on to Valencia.Playing at Arsenal was good but I didn't get as many games as I'd like.
Valencia was very fun to play at.I got to play at my preferred position and scored a whopping 27 goals in the season.(21 in the league)I got a spot in the team of the year, only downside was that we got knocked out in all the cups early and only managing finishing 4th.

Now I'm currently playing at Real Madrid aged 20 and hoping to win some trophies with them.

kadafi316 is completely correct - this BAL is flawed in that it's too easy to get too good too quickly. I exclusively play on Top Player, and now score 100+ a season (have done for 4 years now). Simply put, it's too easy to influence games once you're above average stats wise.

Admittedly my dude is just about the best in the game now - I'll post new pics of STEVE soon - but even a few years ago my stats were simply too high and it was too easy to score. See the pics (http://profile.imageshack.us/user/stevebalpes09/) - and since then I've gotten even better!

I've even taken to trying to get assists now (which I never did!), just in order to get the remaining trophies that I need. I have all the international trophies already. Just played the WC, and in my 7 games I got 20 goals and 13 assists.

13 assists? How do you make an assist?
I always find it extremly hard to make an asist because my teamates will always miss.
Maybe it depends on the abilities you have?

I actually got more assists than goals in my first season of playign with Middlesbrough.

Mind you, Afonso Alves and Tuncay Sanli can actually score goals, which set up the rather nice numbers.

And I'm playing as a Shadow and Target striker.

this is way i now i cant be botherd to score goals any more im 29 and its to easy to score goals my highest was 67 and i could have scored more iff i took my near post chances far to easy to score on the near post im completly bored at the moment age 29 i have got nearly all trophys apart from the assist ones which now iam geting because i stop scoreing and started assisting ny highest was 22 in one year french legue Bordeaux i won assist in everything that year legue cup legue and euro championship on top player as well im nearly 30 now and will be close to retirment soon i cant play no more i have about 6 things on 95 and i score 2 goals every game i could score more iff i wasnt trying too shoot from 40 yards all the time but thats how easy its got for me tho

^I am with Man utd now, and still they miss chances when I assist them.
I was top assist with Lyon btw (it was so hard to get an assist). Now, it's easier with Man utd but still, I find it annoying how many chances they can miss.

lol i dont know i tend to play a little deeper now a days and on the wings a lot more i think it depends on the level you play on because on top player 9/10 times 1 on 1 they score i think they miss more on lower levels i also cross the ball a lot with no direction just o because crossing sucks either to long or to short o just makes it land in the middle hope that helps mate i also play deep in middfield and use l1 triangle alot over the top balls that works now and than for me benzema chapi were amazing at scoreing golas i played in a fornt 3 with benzema chapi kadafi and a young gerrad at 21 in the amf role that partnership was brutal at times 93 golas in the legue alone 1 year i would rotate with benzema for the ss postion time to time tho and took all the pk lol so far i have taken 32 spot kicks and missed 4 off them my worst moment was euro semi england germany 1 0 loseing 83 min i missed we went out what was bad about it i missed 2 absloute siters in that game hit the bar and i had the chance to make a mans for it and blew it i did not want to take no more after that day :crymore: for about 6 7 games after that i went on a goal drought that night my dream was runined to lift the euro because i missed the pk lol :angry:

^I think it does depend on the level.
I play as a RMF for Man utd and I tend to cross without direction. Thnaks for the tips. I am gonna switch the difficulty at the end of the season.

Well since I have a bit of Spanish in me, I decided to create a new character. Here is my story

My Character details:
Name: Rafael Gonzaléz,
Nationality: Spanish,
Position: CF,
Difficulty: Professional.

I played my scouting game and scored 2 goals. I then got offers from Recreativo de Huelva and 2 other mid table teams. I decided to go with Recreativo and started my career.

It took me about 5 or 6 training games to get on the bench so I was quite pleased. I made my debut against Villarreal and made a contribution by setting up a goal. I started a game against Barca which we won 4-3. I scored 2 of them(tap-ins) and set up 1 and got the MOTM award which i was pleased about. I then started more and more games but I didn't score alot of goals, however I liked the team so I stayed with them throughout the season.

I played 15 games scoring 5 goals in my first season. I won 5 MOTM awards and 1MIP. We finished the season a sold 10th getting knocked out in the Semi finals of the Cup by Real Madrid, with Real Betis winning the League.

I got offers from Bordeux, Almeria, Recreativo(extend contract) & Sporting. I decided to stay with Recreativo and what a good decision the proved to be. I have played 3 games and have scored 4 goals(1 goal off equaling the total amount I got in 15 games last seasons). We beat the defending champions Betis 2-1 in which i got 2. Got a 1-1 draw with Valencia in which I got 1 goal. We also beat Almeria 2-0 in which I got 1 goal. Thats my career so far and im only 18.
