Hey guys, first post - I've read this board for a while but never registered, decided to share my legend and his stats!







Currently he has learned DMF, CMF, and AMF - I've been played at CF, SS, and side mid a few times before but I have yet to learn it.

Question: When do I get to learn the Scoring stat. I've scored in every game for about 8 games running now, still no dice, I'll keep trying to score until the transfer window and we'll see.

Have to say that my BALmode is getting far too easy even on Top Player now! I have great stats that makes me score too much goals right now. Im 25 years now my third season at Man Utd and after around 35 matches already scored 90 goals!:shocking:

The highest scores were against Liverpool away 0-8 (i scored 6!) and Man City in the FA Cup 8-0 (i came in as a sub after half time, when the score was 0-0, i managed to score a hattrick).

But last night i did something i was aafraid of cause it totally lost it's reality, we won 0-11 at Stoke City were i made 7 goals :huh:

So i don't know if it's normal when your getting older and better that it 's getting far too easy. i already posted last time that i score scripted goals bur that's because im a SS, marked left in the field. So i can always make the same goals it seems...

I won the league with Wigan after some insane offensive play throughout the later half of the season from Zaki, Ben Watson, Gouffran, Rodallega and myself. So I figured I should stay unless THE ONE offer came along.

Which it did. So now I'm at Liverpool :happy:

Though Gerrard went to Fiorentina early so he aint there :(

I also have another legend at age 24 but I kinda got bored with him so I'm going to focus on this one for now and trying to skip as few games as possible. AND FEEL FREE TO COMMENT ON MY LEGEND!

I'm now midway my third season. I played the first season in Middlesbrough and then got an offer from liverpool and took it. On my first season i scored 29 goals and got 9 assists. Second season 17+17 and now after 29 games this season I've got 26 goals and 8 assists. I think I'm gonna play for Liverpool for couple more seasons before moving to another leagues.

because that happens me all the time i play 1 or 2 seasons with a club and after that they don't want do renew my contract. And I'm top scorer and best player in Europe and the world. That happen to me in AC Milan, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Man Utd

That's odd. I've never had that problem but I've never played more than three seasons in the same team. I've always switched teams quite often.

So my motherboard messed up and I lost my BAL save. Terrible loss but nowhere else to go but up on the high horse.

This time with a short, Ivorian striker named Didier Debíe.

Never played anything other than European players (French, English and Swedish, in that order) so I figured I might try an african player.

So I made him. Côte d'Ivoire, or Ivory Coast, has a pretty good national team that just can't get that extra bit of luck in the World Cup despite players like Drogba, the Toure brothers, Emmanuel Eboue, Didier Zokora, Salomon Kalou and Bakari Koné.

I've usually used quite tall players with a good jumping/heading skill but it was just too easy to score that way so I made Debíe 174cm tall. Instead, I will focus on his speed and dribbling skill.

Funny fact - in the third training match with Tolouse (starting club), I scored two goals via headers on corner kicks. Poor marking?

EDIT: Halfway into the season, I've figured one thing about Tolouse.

Their retarded formation makes for NO viable play at all!

They play the most idiotic 4-3-3 I've ever seen.



The "RMF" is standing in the Target STRIKER position, but because he is a Midfielder, he automatically moves back ALL THE TIME to be in the Midfielder zone. This leaves the team without a proper target man in the center almost all the time.

I currently play in the AMF position and I am the one that runs through the center, playing more like a shadow striker than an offensive midfielder.

It's just riddiculous really...

I believe it's been posted more exactly how much you need of which stat to gain a special ability somewhere on this site, but it's an addition nonetheless.

Season three (second in Liverpool) ended. I lost the european championships and D1 cup because Dirk Kuyt missed a penalty in both finals :D. But I got offered another contract with Liverpool and quarter of the season has already passed. Stats will be posted at end of the season!

I believe I just got screwed by the AI in the most painful of ways.

Underlying Facts (based on personal studies);
- The AI makes your teammates worse and your opponents better after each win your team registers.
- The worse the team is, the better it is. Basically, it's harder to play agains't West Brom than it is to play agains't Manchester United. (Matches you don't play are directly decided by a coin toss from the AI, factoring in how good a team is, which is why the best teams usually finish high in the standings, but gets trashed by your team, assuming you PLAY agains't them.)
- The speed of the opponent players is always much higher than it "should" be.

So I'm playing for Werder Bremen and it's only our first season but we're playing phenomenally well, having registered 10 wins and 1 loss up until the match agains't Karlsruhe in the German Bundesliga. Karlsruhe is generally not seen as a very good team, it finished second to last in the real life Bundesliga 2008/2009 for example.

I always check the form of the people playing before I press Start Match and I was glad to see that almost everyone in my team had an orange or red arrow, indicating a very good form.

Care to hazard a guess as to the outcome?

Karlsruhe was up 2-0 after 20 minutes and by the end of the match my team had not managed a single shot on goal. My players were about as good as most Division six players and their players were on par with any world class superstar.

Stoll (74 Speed, 74 Acceleration) and Drpic(72 Speed, 74 Acceleration), Karlsruhe's centerbacks, were outrunning Markus Rosenberg (85 Speed, 87 Acceleration) without much effort.

Oh, and I play on Regular.

Funny fact; I beat Bayern Munchen with four goals to nil (4-0) with most of my players on blue or green form arrows... This was one match earlier than the Karlsruhe match.

I know, it's basically just another rant about things we already know but I've been playing BAL for a very, very long time now. And I didn't think I could be surprised about the AI screwing you over but it sure as hell proved me wrong. As it always does.

I started my career playing for Torino is Serie A where I got the league's top goal

scorer but nothing else, we didn't even win an cups at all. So after a full season

with Torino I decided to leave, when a transfer opportunity to go and play in the

Premier League, so I decided to play for Newcaste. I didn't really find my feet at

Newcastle, although I got leagues top goal scorer, and we won the league also, I

got selected in the league's best XI. I got fed up of Newcastle, they allways

played a 4-4-2 formation and played me in midfield at times, I would prefer to play

upfront on my own. So anyway I got an offer to go to the French Ligue 1, and play

for Bordeux, I was made up when they gave my the famous No.10 shirt! I really

played good at Bordeux, they allways played me upfront on my own in a 4-5-1

formation, I got support from Wendel (he's a good passer) I won everything with

Bordeux, I got leagues best player, we won the French League, we won the French

domestic cup, we won the UEFA cup. The only thing that could take me away from

Bordeux, was the thing that next happened. I recieved a transfer oppurtunity

from Liverpool (the team I support) so I didn't even need to think about it, I went

straight to Liverpool without thinking (bad choice). The reason that this was a bad

choice was because that Liverpool had sold Gerrard, Torres, Mascherano and Reina

(why?!) anyway I came along and got the number 8 shirt (I was truly honoured) I

was very happy at Liverpool despite them selling four of the best players we had.

Anyway we won, Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and I won the league's

top goal scorer, and I was in the leagues best XI. I had offers from AC Milan,

Chelsea, Real Madrid among others, these were very hard to resist, but I did. So I

was into my next season with Liverpool, but we didn't do as good we finished

second in the league, we won the FA cup and got to the semi's of the Champions

League. I got slightly bored of Liverpool and decided I will move on if a decent

opportunity comes along, fortunatly it did. I recived an offer to go to Wolfsburg

so I accepted, I was mostly thinking about that in real life they just wont the

German Bundesliga. But I really did not like playing for Wolfsburg, they didn't put

me on the starting lineup often but we did win the German Bundesliga closely

followed by Werder Bremen only two points away! We also won the EUFA cup, we

were winning 1-0 and then in the 84th minute AC Milan scored with Kaka, so we

went into added time and I got brought on in the second period of added time,

24minutes in and I scored a header to put us 2-1 ahead! we won the cup and I got

voted the best player in the UEFA cup and the highest goal scorer. I was is the

Bundesliga's best XI and the leading goalscorer! But I decided that I was fed up

with Wolfsburg and left the Bundesliga when I got an offer from Barcelona! I

recieved the No.22 shirt, I was very happy. I scored the winning goal in a match

against Real Madrid.

I definitly played the most interesting game of my life just now.

Euro Champs (Champions League) group stage, Hoffenheim (me) versus Liverpool.

We start by scoring 1-0 pretty early, and we hold off Liverpool until the 60' were Gerrard scores on a corner. We really need to win this match so I push like a madman. But those last minutes comes calling, the fourth ref flags 1+ minutes to play. And despite my hate of the PES09 AI, my players score almost completely without my help in the last seconds of the match. Woo, I won the match! Or so I thought.

The game is built in such a way that the AI ref wont end the match until the team with the ball has had it's last chance ruined. Well, Liverpool took advantage of this and ran all the way through and scored to equalise. I'm looking up wondering why karma did this to me and I cautiously realise that I can only win this by actually scoring without losing the ball. Fat chance, eh?

But we did. Got it crossed in to me, I scored. 3-2, we won.

I'd say that atleast 5-6+ minutes had gone by, not the 1+ that was flagged.

But still, gotta love an even game.

Wow, I've never played a match where I actually never managed a single shot on goal.

Until now. Strange, seeing as I usually rack up atleast 7-8 and usually upwards of 10 shots every match.

I really gotta find a better club.
