I suppose it could be possible to start off at a big club, that is if the league in which you start is a custom one in which you place only all the very best teams from the game*runs off to try*
Thats cool and all but I dont really have the patience to do all that....all i did was switched some of the really crappy teams with some decent teams....and there werent any really crappy teams in serie a in the game.....less work for me to do....

I got into Juventus in my second season. :shocking:
I've taken a few corners, penalties and free kicks for Juventus in my second season. I think they were just testing me. I probably failed because I haven't done so again in a while.
BAL cheat/bug/stupid AI/amzing AI
i dont know if this happens to you but every tim, and i mean EVERY time my team gets a free kick from 16M- 25M, they ALLWAYS score. they seem to have 99 free kick stats the minute they get the free kick.
what also annoying is that i cause the free kick and the AI doesn't recognise it and doesn't considre it in the rating.

I've had my team miss a few times under those circumstances, but they do seem to score more often than not!
some of the stupid FK are these- the FK is right on the 16 box line. when a normal player would aim for the uncovered top corner, the I chooses to dip it over the wall. i think this is unpossible for you to do in PES, but somehow, even the worst FK taker in the team scores...

They score, but not all the time. Chivu for Inter is a beast in FKS. He scores many times but he also fails too.

reached halfway through the season and only just got a starting place. racked up a few sub appearances mind.
not scored yet but made 1 or 2. MVP twice and MOTM once. my team is sunderland, did have a choice of them and wigan but at the time keane was gaffer so i opted for them.
transfer window and wigan after me again, i can just see bruce telling the BBC i am just what he needs after losing wilson to spurs LOL. gonna stay put for a bit, it's great having Cisse and jones to finish things off

Can any position player take corners, free kicks or penalties? Or does is it only midfielders who can do it?
any pos. just get high kicking stats
well, they say you need high kick acc for pen. i personally was able to take a few penalty kicks in my first season, and i don't know but after a while of taking them for a few seasons i got the box ticked. i had high kicking acc as well. for fk, there are several stats that seem to affect it but basically it happened around my 7th season or so. maybe 8th, don't remember exactly. just keep leveling up and it will happen eventually. the game only seems to care about high stats
I got to take free kicks, penalty kicks and such occasionally, I assume when I was placed in the position of someone who regularly takes those kicks.
My long pass accuracy is heading towards 90 so I expect to be used for corner kicks sometime soon.. In the 8th season atm.

I play on Top Player, i did consider taking the difficulty level down after 1 season but realized i couldn't, and so just knuckled down and tried to get better.
First season joined Aston Villa. My player was poor, terrible balance and shooting. I am a AMF but they kept playing me CMF and I got poor marks mainly because I was drifting out of position. However towards the end of the season I improved, scored a couple of goals and got an offer from Everton the following season.
So I went there and had to force my way into the team. Scored 4 goals for them over the course of the season, we started off well but then went completely off the boil at the end of the season and finished 17th. It was very frustrating. Saha and Yakubu NEVER scored the chances I provided them with and therefore I ended up with no assists at all!
I thought I'd be loyal to Everton, but they didn't offer me a new contract (so I now hate them) and moved to the best option which was AZ in Holland.
Fantastic start, we stuffed Newcastle 4-0 in the CL and I scored a beauty of a winner v Atletico Madrid. Same thing seems to happen though, they get worse as the season goes on and I have trouble getting a 7 rating any more. Things have picked up again last 5 games or so, scored a brace in one and the winner in another, which has helped.
Also got called up to the England squad 6 times this season as a sub, and have 3 MOM awards.
My player has good stamina and speed but kicking is way off what is should be and balance is still poor too. How long does it take to get these up to a good level?
Also, I have NEVER had "Match Experience Points" which it says should appear in red on the strengthen bar after a game. How do you get them?

you can change the difficulty on the lst week of season (not league season, negotiations last week).
if you are a CMF, try to pass a lot and shoot once in a while.
you will get good stats by the end of your third season and will grow faster in the fourth one.
the match experience points are there, but are very little so you need to look closely to spot them. they only add a bit so dont worry about them.
