How do I sell players in ML?

I'm currently in the month of January so obviously, the transfer window is open. So I put one of my players on the transfer list. Am I supposed to just wait for an offer while the CPU simulates the days in the calendar? I'm already halfway through the month and I'm still not getting any offers.

BELIEVE
I imagine some people won't have played PES 2013 often enough to reach January yet - and if they have, chances are, they're playing the game a lot, and thus likely to spend less time on this forum.

In past PES games, it's always been quite difficult to sell a player. What are you hoping to gain from selling a player? Are you seeking just money, or rather money to then go and buy other players? Another query, is to what setting is your ML transfer activity is set as. If it's set to "low", then expect minimal transfers between the CPU and their approaches.

When it comes to offloading members of my squad, in previous versions of the game, I have transfer listed them, but unfortunately the majority would never be approached. Alternatively, I now trade players within a deal if I can, but this may not be relevant if you're purely wanting to accumulate money. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you with this matter though. Fingers crossed, but I'm a little skeptical.

Finally, 'double posting' is against the forum rules, but there are occasions in which we're lenient about the matter, and given your second post wasn't until a full day after the first, that's not too back. But I just felt like it was worth giving you a heads up in case you forgot. :)

Thanks for the reply.

It is set to normal. I'm trying to sell one of my players whose contract will expire by the end of the season so I might as well get some money out of him since I'm not gonna re-sign him. I'm also trying to loan a couple of young players but no offers have come. So am I supposed to just wait it out? I even went to the squad list and released that player I wanted to sell to see if that was the way to sell a player. I was wrong. He was just straight up released from his contract without any transfer fees from a team. This is my first PES game on an HD console so I'm really new with all of this.

There's a team in contact. How am I supposed to negotiate with that team?

I've yet to receive an offer from another team in PES 2013's ML, so I don't think I'd know the answer to that.

As basic as this may sound, I'd first recommend just reading through the instructions manual. Alternatively, you could head into the Negotiations section within the ML main menu, and perhaps you could press the 'Back' or 'Select' button in order to open the pop-up Help menu. This could be of assistance, and worth checking.

Most likely if you put up players that are doing well for you at the end of the season alot of teams get in contact with you this is based on the last 3 Pes editions , Janaury sometimes u get bids mostly loans etc i always put mine to high transfer activity better in master league different teams purchasing new playes XD

So High is actually more realistic than Normal?

IF You put it on High theirs more chance of selling as more teams are active in the market and more likely to come in for your players , its realistic in that sense pal but u do get the likes of xavi , rooney , aguero moving to rivals etc

I wouldn't mind. There's no such thing as loyalty nowadays anyway.

So Malouda signs for QPR but it says it's effective on July 1st. Does that mean he has already signed via free transfer, hence the "0" in transfer fee? Why did he sign when he's still at Chelsea? Does this happen often?

Well if his contract is due to expire it can certainly happen if one doesn't renew it and then put him on the transfer list afterwards..

you made the mistake of benching Malouda at the year of his contract renewal! that's why he put his negotiations with you on hold and left you for free. Whenever you want to sell a player you need to let him play as many games as you can.

Always rotate your players in the starting line up to keep everyone happy and to keep their performance levels from dropping, they lose their powers sitting on the bench.

Personally: I learn this the hard way so I have 3 formations saved read for me one click away.

Team A: my best, they play the champions league and tough games espcially semi finals and finals.

Team B: They play normal games and unimportant games in the champions

Team C: youngsters, they play the cup games and if I secure the league title early or secure champions promotion I let them play.

This way everyone is happy and everyone is developing.
