How to crazy shot?

There are two types, plus a skill card that affects this shooting.
1. Press & hold "special control" button, press shoot and release.
2. Press shoot, then press & hold "special control" button.
3. If the player in question have a skill card named "Long Range Drive" you will get a bit different results from the same combinations mentioned above.
You also need to watch the keepers positioning before shooting. If he leaves the line and take a few steps out, then you're good to go. Alternatively if he keeps position too close to either post.

If you actually play with the default settings, I don't understand how anyone can do that. If you enter the controller settings, you can pretty much set it to whatever key/button you want.
I think the right names for the shots in question are "controlled shot" and "curved shot". "Crazy shot" can be basically anything

He obviously is talking about the Long Range Drive bullshit. Yep buddy that's one of the reasons why PES sucks. The goalie's positioning matters not, it's all about luck and they go in about 50/50. So yep, a few players that can do it? Messi, Villa, Rooney, Del Piero, Adam Johnson, Mutu, Cassano, etc.

I got burned by 4 Cavani goals in a match where the were all ground balls from just outside of the box. They were all shot diagonally, top 1/3 to the bottom corner of the net and as Cavani was moving towards the net from the midfield. I called them holy rollers because:
in all 4 goals, my keeper never responded to them until they went into the net and after the ball passed the keeper suddenly dives like he is going to stop it.
I felt like I was being glitched. After the first score, my opponent kept trying to move in that position again. Not sure if he was using pass instead of shoot but it certainly ticked me off. Certinaly an AI error.

Griciu & IronCity If you give me room for a shot from distance (25m or closer) with any player with 75 or more Shot Accuracy and 80 or more Shot Power I will snipe you down regardless of Long Range Drive or not.
Just make sure your player is in balance, shift body positioning so that you're facing around 15-30 degrees |/ away from the point you're aiming at and shoot with 60-80% of full bar. 60% if you aim to the far corner from the keeper, 80% if you aim across and over the keeper for a dip shot.
Human vs Human, it's almost too easy to score if opponent isn't keeping a decent pressure on ball carrier in all shooting ranges. The AI even at professional does this better than 98% of the human players that I've played against online.
Just for clarification, it wasn't me IronCity, I don't usually shoot from range with Cavani.

Yes, i was talking about that. Keeper just can't save it.

From outside the 16m box, use R1 and face the goal either 90 degrees or 45. R1 is a must outside the 16m box. Inside, do not use R1, there will be just too much power in that shot and your chances are slim. Just simply shoot and they will automatically go for the low shot on the far out corner.
Sabatasso, do you play on PC? What's your in-game username? I'd like to see that happen, especially since I strongly believe that shots outside the 16m box are pure lottery, except for a few players like C. Ronaldo and the ones with the Skill Card described in this topic.

I can shoot decent shots without R1 or R2 ... I didn't even know you use these while shooting...

I too do not use any of those, I knew they were present though. I even do not use fients and link fients though they are easy on PES, I keep the game simple and enjoy the results.. I am happy with my game. But I am little jealous of you Sabatasso as I am one of the 98% you mentioned in your post. I cant apply enough pressure while the opponent striker is running with the ball/trying to get the ball.

Use semi-assisted or unassisted settings, use your defensive midfielder to pressure / stand off. I often use an extra AI player to help me, but I release the AI pressure button instantly if the random player is already covering/marking someone else. I control this player about 80% of the time I am not in possession of the ball. Using this player to make sure free players are marked, or to pressure ball carrier between 25 meters and closer in the central part of the pitch.
It's really not hard to do, but I struggle to do it if I don't got a DMC or an "anchor man" CMF stationed deep in my lineup. You'll need someone with decent speed (75+), loads of Stamina (85+), decent Defense (70+) and Response (at least 75, but as high as possible.) Think typical "Water carrier". Parker at Spurs is a great player for this purpose. If your water carrier is tall or possess good jumping, it will also be of great help defending crosses.
See main work area below, the more stamina, the bigger work area you can choose. Unless your water carrier is ultra fast, though, I would focus in this area mainly. If anything, expand it towards the halfway line, not to the wider parts of the pitch. Note that the red area is in your defense zone.

Like Griciu, I do not believe you score such a hugh % of your shots outside the box. Though I don't think it's pure lottery, I do feel you need an amount of luck to score from 20-25 meters. Yesterday I trained shooting from outside the box with Sneijder. He has no 'long range drive' skillcard, but great shooting stats. I scored 1, maybe 2 out of 10 shots. I've practiced shooting before, and if I'm close or inside the box (max 18m) I can score quite easely. 20+ meters don't go in so often. I concider myself a more than decent player, but scoring from a distance is one of the few things I can't get under control. Can't you show a vid where you shoot 10 times or something, without any cuts. It's not that I don't believe you, I just wan't to see what you are doing exactly

The keeper operates differently in training mode than in a match situation. I'm not sure if it's because of shots being partially covered by defenders, or if they simply use a different AI.
Besides, I don't really give a flying fart if you believe me or not. I never said that I scored most of my goals from that area, only that I scored almost every time I was unpressured in that position with a decent shooter. The lower shooting stats, the lesser goals scored, obviously. As I play mostly with Spurs, the shooters are mostly Modric, Parker and Van der Vaart. I notice a good deal difference between the three, obviously. Body positioning is more important than player abilities, though, and the worse the shooter, the more important positioning and balance are.
I kinda like this years shooting, as it works if you know how to do it, and you can't blast supergoals on a regular basis without having a clue about the game. It separates the good players from the not so good players, and team strength does not matter as much as it used to during two player or online. I wouldn't mind the shot power being a little bit harder, though.
I actually score most of my goals from clear cut chances inside the box. Hardly ever from headers, except the odd nod from Adebayor.
PS. Don't forget to lob the keeper, "change player" button + shoot is almost too good in this release. I use it whenever the keeper leave the line for some reason, and it works too good once you sort out how much power you need to put into it from different ranges.
