How To Make Edit Mode Better

The title says it all really, what features could make the edit mode better. ?

In my opinion the ability to customize the colour of the original konami boot should be imported if we can't have the create your own boot feature, now i know what you're thinking "forget the boots they aint important" but in fact they are because it adds that little realistic touch and gives me something to do in order to keep the players boots updated to how they are in real life.

The untucked shirts are a must and more dirt on the kits looks ridiculous when you see the players kit's after the game all sparkling clean and smelling like fresh lavender.

Right i could go on but i've created this thread to hear what you think about the current edit mode and what do you think can be improved ?

Not me

Fix that and Ill be making my entire family. Seamlessly.

Adding facial hair to an imported face and colouring boots are what's needed for the ultimate edit mode.

^You can already edit hair without creating a whole new face on pes 09, but yeah, the ability to add facial hair without creating a new face is great.

The edit mode in PES 2009 was good but just lacked a few things too play about with but it was definatly a step in the right direction after PES 2008's bad edit mode

This year it would help if we had more kit templates, found it impossible to create the arsenal kit in PES 2009.

I'm putting all you're idea's on a list that will be edited each time we see a new idea i'll put it on there.

These are all amazing idea's guys keep them coming. ;)

I personally would like to see an improvement to the way the keepers gloves look & therefore the ability to edit the way the look & colours, even getting a license like Reusch (think that's the spelling) or even using Adidas or Nike seeing as they clearly have the license for their boots so why not their gloves???

Would also like to have the short & long socks again & even having the tape outside the bottom of the socks like the Ronaldo's & Ashley Youngs of the world.

Would also want to see those neck warmers that some of the Italians wear like Buffon & Totti.

When you change a name you'd be able to have the option to set it as name on shirt cos it's bloody frustrating changing a name then changing the name on shirt, so time consuming

oh and a manger editor and maybe the ability to edit league and cup logos if it didn't prove impossible with the licensing issues.

Due to reasons that most of you already know, I did not purchase PES 2009. So I'll reply to this post based on what I've seen from PES 2008. What I've noticed that Konami has removed from past PES games, that I'd like to see returned are neck warmers, socks tape and necklaces for starters. What I'd like to see added/brought back/enhanced are:
*neckwarmers, socks tape, necklaces (as mentioned above)
*ear tapes
*TATTOES (emphasis on this)
*the ability to use real player faces when creating-a-player (ex: using Thierry Henry's face to represent myself in the game).
*more boots (or at least allow us the create-a-boot function)
*keeper gloves
*finger gloves/tape/wrap (I forget what its called, but I've seen Ashley Cole wear them. Also wrestlers like Triple H wear them.)
*headband has a separate function.(bald players should be able to wear headbands to)

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD THE FOLLOWING BE REMOVED:
*sleeve length
*untucked shirt
*sock length
*winter gloves

Good idea Freestyle, its going to be another thing for them to actually see this. Konami act very ignorant towards our dedication and love towards PES.

To be fair, what should happen in edit mode is allow us the freedom to do pretty much everything, in terms of editing kits, faces, boots, stadiums. That way we wouldnt have much to complain about.

1. Stadium Editor - nothing too fancy to start with but all the stadiums in the game tend to be large. We need, at least: small, medium, large 'stock' stadiums which can be edited. Edit the seat colours and the general look of the stands (closed or open corners, etc.). Option to include a running track or not. Adjust the dimensions of the pitch and the type of pitch. You should be able to adapt a stadium to get it closer to the stadium you want for a particular team, save it and then adapt that same stadium again in a different way for a different team.

2. YES! Add facial hair to 'special' faces. Make 'special' faces editable unless they are already spot on (often they are not).

3. Hair - the styles are too prescriptive. Sometimes you find the right style but it's either too long or too short. On earlier games you could lengthen, shorten, 'bulk out' a hairstyle or change fringe length. Let's have that back.

4. Interchangeable kits - Mix home shirt with away shorts and/or socks like we had with PES5 and like they do in REAL LIFE!

5. Have the opportunity for a 3rd kit. Not neccesarily for all teams but at least have the choice to choose the handful of teams you want to have this option (licenses allowing but even some of these could have a 3rd kit and not just in UCL mode).

6. More Emblem slots, of course. The amount of slots should equal the amount of editable teams - simple.

7. Similarly, make sure there are enough kit marking slots for every editable team. What is the point of giving us the option to edit teams if we are not given the appropriate space for logos, emblems, etc?

8. Add more depth to kit templates. Bring back the broad stripe on the shoulder similar to how a North London Red team has theirs! Maybe make standard markings modifiable so that you can bend them into different shapes.

Konami are on the right track with PES2009 but there's definitely stuff that could be added to make the game even better.

1 - Preset Faces and Preset Hairstyles so that we can create better-looking players, 'Build' Faces always end up looking very rubbish. Also having the option of Editing 'Special' Faces.

2 - Unlockable 'Fully Licensed' Classic Players: Romario, Baggio, Zidane, Platini, Valderrama, Hierro, Gazza, Le Tizzier... it doesn't haves to be Maradona and Pele.

3 - Classic Hairstyles: Carlos Valderrama's Afro, Roberto Baggio's Ponytail, Zinedine Zidane's bald spot style, etc, etc... If they (Konami) cannot give us Fully Licensed Classic players, then at least they should add Classic Hairstyles.

4 - Option for Tweaking with the Length of the Shorts; ranging from Basketball-Type shorts to Classic-Type shorts.

5 - The Old-Option for choosing the Length of the Socks; Long, Medium, Low.

6 - Untucked Shirts.

7 - It would be cool to have a new option for placing Countless of Bracelets on each Player's wrist.

8 - More and better options for Kit Editing; more kit templates.

9 - Unlockable Boots, in addition to the usual set of boots.

10 - New option for placing Logos on 'Socks' and on the 'Sides of the Shirts'.

if they can not put more licence teams they can make easier the way we put details to kits... more shapes, more symbols more fonts and bla bla bla
