Like it was not a big deal and people should rather focus on the game itself. But at the end, this year we got a new net physics which looks a lot better.

Well Bhatti just reminds me of one of those tele-sales rats who do door-to-door sales. Of course it isn't his fault that game has fundamental flaws, but it IS his fault when he uses 'weasel words' and blocks people who present legitimate concerns, about a game that we care far more about than he does. Video doesn't work. What speed are you in? You playing on PC or Ps4. For me it's not that bad, to me the difficulty isn't consistent, there will be times it's difficult and other times it's easy. Try playing against big teams.

Anyway, im playing on default speed, ps3 platform. Given the overall feel, I dont have much complains. Yes, there are more difficult, the are easyer games, but that doesnt bother me. The thing is how defenders respond to you, when you are just running straight. You could clearly see that in video. I can try to describe it to you, so you could try it yourself when playing Superstar level. Just run straight, without sprinting, when needed turn left/right with arrows on your joystick and you`ll see that you will have an advantage all the time and defenders will struggle to steal ball from you, while others will retreat and leave you free space to score. You can score like 9-10 goals a game in this way. Even more if you play longer halfs.

I use to have the same problem as you, I use to score a lot of goals but that's because the speed of the game was faster than it should, when I changed it to -1, it became so much better. Trust me it's worth it.

Yes, I did try it. -1 game speed, at first it seemed it was harder to score, but later on, you cant avoid playing 1vs1 with defender and you cant avoid making a run into the box and whether its default speed or -1 speed, I always go past 2-3 or more defenders, walk forwards and backwards in the box, when I decide that its enough and then just score the goal. And there is no difference what skills or overall your controlled player have, or who is your opponent. At the same time, there are tons of free space around me, since defenders arent reacting to the ball or me, they are retreated or controlled as puppets and completely ignoring the situation. I could go even closer and then the defenders would run away from me, notice that all this action is taking place in the box. I imagine in Fifa this could be reduced with marking/line width/height sliders, but in PES there is no such thing.

People who have ps4 said the same problem exist. I guess its only the way of exploiting it, the way of playing. Maybe thats why many people dont notice it or dont consider it as a game breaker. Anyway, thanks for your recommendations, but slowing the game speed doesnt really help in my case. I guess I`ll just wait for some patch and probable solutions, thats the only thing I can do.

Have to say I'm very disappointed with this year's version. I think 2015 is a superior game, much more balanced imo. Goalkeepers beaten too easily, Referee not blowing for practically anything, defending as far as I can tell is just ridiculously hard. I've lost count the amount of times I've scored a goal only for the other team to literally get one back from kick off, literally not being able to touch them, they just waltz past. It seems very back and forth, very arcadey. Most of my games so far have been 3-3, 4-2, 4-3, 5-4 etc, and that's with a very defensive gameplan! 2015 had none of these problems, except maybe the referee issue. Another thing I'm noticing is poorer teams scoring world class goals regularly. Volleys from everywhere, Bicycle kicks from impossible angles, masterful first touches from long balls over the top from poor players etc, it's nonsense really and again, very arcadey. In 2015, good players could do those things, but not championship level players, as it should be.
Game speed is another big issue. Standard speed is too fast, it's very unrealistic. I play on -1 at all times. Again, 2015 was perfect on standard speed. Honestly, I don't know what they've been doing in development, but this is a huge step backwards from what I've seen so far. I appreciate that they've done a lot of good things, the ball physics are great, shooting is good for the most part, and the new player animations and physical tussles are great and very welcome, but surely they could have layered those things over what was already a very solid base from the 2015 version. Very disappointing. At the moment I think I'll be going back to 2015, which I've had a whole year of enjoyment from, even at the expense of kit editing etc.

Ball physics has always been incredible and the ball heavy. This year it's like a damn balloon.

On top of that, AI's ridiculous control of the ball and first touch (even with multiple defenders surrounding him) is ludicrous.

But of all the problems, FOULS or no fouling in this game (yet again) is inexcusable and kills it for me.

I'm playing MyClub and when the computer wants to score it does, and the same low shot over and over, keeper does the same thing every time. But I understand this problem, however it's not my main concern, my main concern is that when the computer wants to do something you are powerless to stop it and thus all the strategy, team construction, ideas, skill and intelligence go clean out the window.

I find the same patterns (i.e scripts) occurring over and over, particularly in defence. Getting goal-side of attackers is just impossible when the computer decides it wants to score - but this has been a problem within the game for a long long time and it also undermines your claim that the game will get better. For me, these scripts ensure the game remains fundamentally flawed. Great to look at and play in parts but when the scripts kick in the game just becomes shocking because it simply undermines every aspect of MyClub and beyond.

You better change the you into i dude.... i got no problem with defending and stealing the ball from superstar AI....im really confused seeing so many of you complain about scripting and poor defending since pes 2015.

Dont Hold X button too much.... dont pay too much attention to AI that "play" the ball.... keep calm and use X , Square and R1 wisely. Many pes players that have problem with defending is those who always hold r1 and x when try to steal the ball... The AI CAN PREDICT YOUR MOVE if u do that.... use teammate control wisely and r1

Exactly... the ball is suck this year. And i never get a red card.... i try to get red card but i cant, maybe he dont have a red card.

I think he should have a red card in his pocket. They usually have. FIFA or PES, but two cards is a must!
