I cant believe this review from GAME

Hello every1, ive been away 4 about 9 months but im back now.

I cant believe GAME had the nerve to say what they did about PES5, they start off about saying about good the game is and how it is the best PES game yet, but they seem to be biast about the review and say it is more like the other PES games and is still unrealistic, this does not anger me what angers me is that they said and i quote from the site

PES5 still isn't as flashy, brash or pick up and play as EA's game.

in fairness, they're right. pro is no way as flash, fifa has all the licenses, all the bells and whistles etc pro plays like an aston martin but looks like a skoda. brash? fifa is more in your face than john mc enroe. and as for pick up and play, well lets be honest, you dont master pro5 in a day now do you? thats not a ridiculous quote to make, they're telling it as it is.

Maybe this FIFA instalment is good, whereas PES isn't as good as previous ones. Face it, from some of the reviews that have posted here, maybe this edition isn't the be all and end all.

To be honest, it's kind of pathetic to see everyone slagging off someone who doesn't think the sun shines out of Konamis arse.

I agree with the quote, it's true, but thats what I hate about FIFA, you can pick it up and play it... then that's it, you get bored quickly. You have to work at PES and it is far more rewarding

pes5 is the best pes so far wait till you all play it every one who says it's not good or not realistic are talking shit.Compared to fifa who's onley option now is to try and copie pes and fail pes has never been better.

exactly and i'm not being funny but pes5 isnt the 10/10 title that many are making it out to be, there is still sooo much that needs to be done before it reaches that status if you ask me. yes, its an excellent game, but fifa really isn't as far behind as many of you on this site make out. the bias is extreme, people saying they hate fifa because you can run from one end of the pitch to the other and the slam the ball into the top corner :NEWSFLSH!: you cant, those days are long gone. just because a reviewer doesnt give pro5 10/10 or recognises fifas good points doesnt mean you should abuse them. from what i've played of the game so far i can understand a lot of the bad reviews, this is a game that needs months of work before you can truly give a verdict on. i tell you now, they way some of you talk on this forum remind me of fifa fans, and your so loyal to konami that if things reverse and fifa becomes the better game you still wont play it. because you act like total fanboys, rather than total gamers

To be honest PES4 satisfied completely. The only reason I'm buying the PES5 for the ps2 is that it comes out a week earlier than the pen ultimate PC version(as PES4) and the online functionality might actually be reasonable.

My feelings exactly. WE all know why we play WE/PES.

Flash & brash are not one of the reasons. Pick up and play, it definitely isn't.

the quote is very true and as expected the typical "fanboy" will slag off anyone who says otherwise.

the fact is FIFA is played by the mainstream public, so it has to be flashy and easy to pick up. PES is more of an aquired taste and as such takes longer to get into.

It is true though saying it isnt "pick up and play like ea" because if you gave someone them both to play say a couple of games they would probably say Fifa is better as its quicker and EASIER to play!

But once you get used to PES you can see how MUCH better and realistic it is compared to Fifa.
