try to think as an optimistic.. its much much better than pes 2008 even the online mode
plus it includes new modes such as BAL and Legends
no much new gameplay skills but we cant deny the huge improvments :no:

But what I don't get is why does metal gear 4 has great ass graphics but PESS 2009 doesn't and the ppl and stadiums look like shit ! the faces do look real tho!

Anyways hopelly they are making pes 2010 already!

I'll tell ya why, (simply put) Because the Pro evolution game engine (in general) takes up more space on the disc than the linear ,story based structure of a MG game...

Ergo theres more room on the disc to fit in better graphics.....

Though there are so many little things they could have done to make the game way better (Leagues B, for Christ's sake, why on earth would they do that, other than the obvious answer, they want to f$ck up the game so we have to buy the next one). But all in all this is a fantastic game. The gamespeed is perfect (though a lot of that has to do with your combination of platform, screen size, camera angle, computer performance, etc.). Maybe it was by luck but I have moments that feel exactly like a real football game.

i know what you saying lads i mean how can people be so selfish when there are people who are blind and deaf who cannot even play these kind of games!

we should all take time to appreciate how lucky we are and the thousands that are not especially so close to christmas when your like "oh wow a set of socks" when they are so happy to get a new hearing aid or a pair of transplant eyes we should all just enjoy what we have

mgs 4 took about 3 or 4 years to make so they had time to get everything right plus u cant jus throw mgs in the mix just becoz its made by the same company i dont think hideo kojima (the guy who created mgs) would be helping create the pes series do u? lol anyways with pes they have less than a year to make the game about 9 or 10 months to be exact.

EA's fifa can get away with having great graphics and all other stuff done in a short year coz EA have more money which means more workers working on the game but seabass has a much smaller team helping him create pes and now that we are in next generation the effects of having a small production team is starting to show this is why fifa has taken the football sim path like the older pes games did and pes seems to have gone a bit arcady and has the rushed feel to it like fifa used to be. its almost like fifa and pes have switched roles.

if u look at fifa now it has all these options like the new custom tactics where u can change the way ur team plays as a whole and im not just talkin about little arrows for player runs and stuff like pes does im talkin about full on control of everything from ur teams build up speed to the way the players interact and interchange positions on the field and much more, its pretty impressive. having said all this tho pes 09 is still a good game no doubt about it but its just getting a bit tedious if u know wot i mean, they dont really update the gameplay for pes its just the same game each year which in terms of playabillity its fine becoz pes has always had good gameplay but in terms of progression pes is struggling.
