Stats and tactics edited for every player and team (work in progress) to improve the gameplay, with the following principal aims:

1) Better defending and goalkeeping all round for both you and AI, using a mixture of player stats, skills cards and styles, and team tactics
2) Enhance the individual personality of each player (even reserves from lesser teams) whilst preserving the differences in ability and between good and bad players
3) Eliminate the 'sea of mediocrity' created by Konami giving generically bad ratings and very little in the way of playstyles etc. to the majority of the database, and make lesser players more competent on average (whilst still having them far outclassed by the best players)
4) More movement and options on attack for both you and AI through player stats, skills and styles, as well as coherent tactics (i.e. tactics that allow teams to transition between attack and defence effectively without problems created by weird combinations of positions, passing and support ranges, attack areas and styles)
5) Achieve all of the above without going 'over the top' - preserve a sense of realism (as much as PES 2015 can manage) and overall just be sensible whilst still making far-reaching changes that hopefully make PES 2015 a more fun and engaging game than it is out of the box - and hopefully slightly harder.

More detail on how gameplay and stats are changed, and things to bear in mind with the overall ratings:

The following question was put to me:

One thing though (and I hate to be critical as you are clearly doing God's work here) but as an Arsenal fan I feel I am qualified to point out that 77 overall is a little high for Bellerin...that puts him on a par currently with players like Seamus Coleman who is clearly a better player. I feel that Bellerin has good potential, but unless this rating is a reflection on the fact that you have increased the ratings for all players (or perhaps that his speed/dribbling makes his overall rating look rather more flattering than it really is) then you may wish to reconsider?

My answer
Your last two statements are spot on. What I'm aiming to do is to make everyone that is at least a competent footballer IRL actually be a competent footballer in game. Lots of reserves and subs have ratings in the 60s and 50s, often accompanied by some really quite bizarre stats (especially for physical capabilities) that make them behave quite unlike pro athletes in game. It is a general trend in my file for attributes to rise across the board (especially scaling up the physical capabilities of lesser known players, who are frequently still quite fast, agile, strong etc. but may lack technical and mental skills), but I'm trying to do so in a way that makes sense and fits with the gameplay ... I'd like to think a fair amount of thought is going into it along with research on PES Stats Database and other places around the web. So most Championship players and weaker Premiership players or youngsters have ratings in the 70s, the 'average' EPL starter is probably around 80-82, and then the players for the top teams are all mostly in the 84-90 range (though if the star players of a lesser team deserve to have a star rating then I've given it to them - player individuality is a big focus) . I've got a feeling Coleman is sitting around 84 atm, so that's a whole ~7 points above Bellerin, and he deserves that rating because he's proven himself to be one of the better full backs in the league.

You're also absolutely right on the speed thing. Some players with limited overall games but a few standout aspects can have inflated overalls, and Bellerin's speed is definitely an example of this kind of thing. Without checking, I'm pretty sure that I've given him no more than mid 60s for defending and ball winning to reflect his lack of experience. His speed and agility will mask positional errors to some degree.

On the other hand, there are some players who are pretty good at everything but their overall ends up being pretty modest. The way Konami counts overall ratings for different positions and the weighting of different stats is quite fickle and doesn't tell you anywhere near everything about a player, so although I'm posting up overall ratings for a general picture, if a player ends up being slightly different to what you would expect in the overall scale it's probably down to the way the overalls are calculated rather than me horrendously misrepresenting the player's actual stats (because that's what counts on the pitch).

Features:

- Team names and commentary city names (where available)
- Player names edited to remove the initial before the surname, except where shared surnames occur, in which case full names are written out in classic PES style (e.g. Ashley Cole and Joe Cole rather than A. Cole and J. Cole)
- Stadium names and detailed settings (sideline, seat and net colours) implemented (giving each ground its 'home colour' rather than being 100% true to real life!)
- Manager names
- Team rivalries
- Real kits courtesy of Paul's PS3 OF!
- Player boots more correct - usually at least changed to the right colour (or close match) and sometimes brand, generally reflecting what they have been wearing in the 2014/15 season so far
- Some cosmetic changes to players with gloves, underlayers, taping and physiques to improve visual variety
- Many created players (e.g. Paddy McNair, Rolando Aarons and others)
- Future projects - apply my edits to as many existing teams as possible + more created players and teams (especially Bundesliga), more custom faces etc.

Installation:
Installation:

1) Download the file (zip archive).
2) Unzip the files into a new folder.
3) Get a USB memory stick (be sure to copy your stuff somewhere else first if you have anything else on the stick, as a back up), plug it into your Xbox, and then configure it in storage settings to have 1gb of space or more.
4) Once configured, plug USB stick into your computer.
5) Download Horizon.
6) Use Horizon to inject all of the files onto the memory stick. Make sure you get all of them - there are 342 files totalling 239mb.
7) Plug USB stick back into your Xbox.
8) If you have edit data of your own that you want to keep, make a backup of it however you wish.
9) COPY (NOT MOVE) all of the PES 2015 data to your Xbox hard drive or other storage device. It's important to COPY since this will make your profile the owner of all the files. If it asks you to replace files, choose yes, assuming you already backed up your own files to somewhere else (or if you don't care about them).
10) Play PES, choosing to load data from the hard drive or wherever you copied my OF files to.
11) Everything should show up in game. Enjoy! I recommend playing against Chelsea on Superstar to test out the gameplay ;)

Just realised I didn't follow the correct format with tagging the thread - could a mod make it something like [OPTION FILE - GAMEPLAY] ? Thanks!

Looks good mate. But there are ways to add kits to Xbox 360 without the pixel editor - check Rocky5's conversion thread. We can use PNGs just the same as PC/PS3.. just takes a bit of extra preparation work ;)

Wow! Thank you so much for pointing all this out to me. Taken me a while to figure it all out, but I've just managed to get a good-looking licensed Arsenal kit, Arsenal emblem, Arsene Wenger icon and FA PL league icon in game from Paul's OF and it looks incredible. So excited to see all these incredible graphics in-game!

Afraid to say that a disaster has taken place. I've lost everything. When the new data pack was applied today, it overwrites transfer data, and I was going to have to reapply my edit data over it, which would have been fine. I had two different backups on my pc plus the download link for the file. But turns out all these backups have exactly the same problem - the EDIT.BIN (which translates to the Edit Data file as it appears on the Xbox 360 storage menu) is 0 bytes file size. Which means it's empty. This applies to both my backups on PC and the download link. And I don't have my version of an Edit Data file on the Xbox. So the whole thing has been lost.

Feeling really very down about this. I imagine that, through sheer bloody mindedness, I will start all over again, but right now I'm still digesting how much work has been lost. Can't believe it.

Hi smb, I just came across this thread as I'm editing PES2015 myself but for PS3. Just want to say sorry about that 'disaster' happening (although a year ago now). It's really really annoying when that happens. I've lost editing work before from PES5 so I know how you must have felt.
