Can someone clarify this, a couple of weeks back I started a thread moaning at the negative tactics of the AI i.e. passing around back 4 and midfield. My understanding was to edit the teams and change the attack balance from 0 to something like 4? is this correct? someone did post a solution on here but I cant find it. Anyway, even after doing this im still finding a lot of games the AI is appalling (beat Fulham 10-1 over 2 legs in Uefa cup last night on professional).

Have I changed the wrong option?

Did you edit the attack balance before or after the latest update? The reason I ask is that the update reset all of the auto assist settings; I had to go back and edit all the teams again.

seriously before you get in to trying to mod the teams to make them play different just raise the difficulty to top player, making the teams more attacking just makes the game easier lol. its not hard to make the computer attack just dont press them constantly and let them get the ball in to your attacking third then counterattack on them. if someone tries to frustrate you by keeping possession you only have two choices. press the ball in an attempt to win it back OR drop your defense back and absorb some pressure then spring the counter attack when you take possession.

the teams dont need to be modified you need to actually play football rather than this game where people just shoot balls at a net blocked by a guy for 90 minutes :eek:

Think I will just try top player, the problem is if you increase the attack balance they all just stream forward, I set it to 5 for a team last night and then cleared a corner - they had one defender back ! you are right - setting the attack balance to 5 actually makes game easier but at least it stops the dull 'keep ball'.

Not to sound stupid but how and where do you change the attack balance? Is is in assited settings, because I always thought that was for your team!

Yes mate you can change all these for every team. The best option may actually be to st every team to a balance of attack and defence. This is number 3 (the middle option)

I think you have to edit all these before starting a master league though or they wont take effect.
