Is PES 2010 the worst PES ?

You clearly did not play PES '08.
or pes 2009.....
for me the best pes in last 3-4 years, with a big jump in comparation with this versions in last years.....
but a lot of work in front of konami, to get back the level of pes 5 or 6

For me Pes 2010 is the best of them all. It´s not great but it is truly good. I tweakt it with kitserver and some program that gives me Superstar. It´s working pretty well but it´s still a little bit to easy.
Then.. about Pes 5 and 6 .. I think they are overrated. Good games, challenching, a bit arcade but they did include snow and cold weather witch I loved, it gave these games more dept and somehow a romantic feeling

And yes, I did play PES08. that too was F*cking awful.
I'm not saying it's perfect, far from it. There're many things I'd like to be changed in it (more free kicks & penalties, less long range goals, better commentary, better through passes, better GKs etc). But hey, I've tried the last two Fifas and the previous PES and with that in mind I say PES 2010 is not bad. I really loved PES 5 (it was not perfect either) and I've been playing it for more than 2 yrs, but hey it's 2010 now. What's good about PES 2010? Whole ML (except the transfer policy), for instance. Or the fact the (correct) tactic matters, especailly against strong teams. The A.I. is not bad either...There're so many different actions, and you never know what your teammates are going to do next. The opponent A.I. is also good. Graphics is nice, too.

Easily the worst PES I've played, although I have yet to try 1 or 2.
PES08 and PES09 are both very arcade-y, and easy to win at, but PES10 is just a horror show, with no enjoyment in it whatsoever, apart from the improved Master League. The PS2 PES games were arcadey too, but they were "realistic" compared to the other games at the time.

im not sure if its the worst but its up there. im hoping they pull their finger out this year and deliver something playable

how can anyone say that this PES or that PES is the best ever, it is about personal preference people!!! and as for PES2008 which gets a lot of stick I actually thought it was pretty good, apart from the non existent edit mode and my initial and continued grief about the lack of 2 player league/cups (vs mates) I thought the game was aesthetically superior to its PS2 counterparts. I think generally speaking the games will always improve on their predecessors with the latest instalment 2010 being absolutely one of the best games ever. Looking forward to 2011 absolutely!!!

This is far from the worst.
The feature-stripped next-gen 6, the overblown ML fatigue glitch of 08 and the ridiculous scripting of 09 were the low points. If they'd been combined into one release it would have nigh-on killed the franchise.
10 got it wrong on the sliders front, which seemed to dumb-down what is a wonderfully flowing game of football.

i enjoyed PES 2008 too and i don't think it was as bad as most say it was.
the only thing i have to say is that your tv did play a big role on how it played and that may have been the problem.
if i played it in my bedroom the game was on steroids,arcade as hell but in my living room, well it played like the one we are about to get PES 2011.

PES 10 is the best PES on the current gen (PS3/360).
My only beef is with the lack of aggressiveness in the AI even on the hardest difficulties. They just don't seem to attack!
