Alright folks, just checking in. Thought I'd share this with you's and maybe someone maybe able to offer some advice!
My dad gave me a sweet 12" ACER laptop with Vista Home Premium, so I started installing all the programs that are on my current Dell, setup the media sharing to PS3 so I can just save images and copy them straight from the laptop by browsing the icon on the PS3 XMB (Desktop). Seemed like a dream come true, because as I mentioned earlier I've had 3 USB sticks die since October.
Then I installed NERO 9, restarted and just wouldn't get passed the BIOS start screen. Nightmare. Tried the auto repair function, repeated tries with the same message saying it couldn't fix it.
Got a vista upgrade disc so could clean install Home Premium, but when looked on the back of the laptop, the sticker has been worn and can just make out 3 of the 5 product key number segments. :no:
Can anyone advise me what's best to do, I've rang Microsoft and Acer today, I can't get a new product key as the disc I have is from a friend and has no official numbers around the inside circle. So... Do I just have to buy a new/unused copy of Home Premium again and re-install with that product key?

Don't know if your still have trouble but theres a few things you can try. Using the disc you've got rather than the repair function did you try the system restore function that can sometimes work.
If you have already tried that or it doesnt work just get on ebay a find a cheap copy of Vista or even XP, theres loads about now everyone wants Windows 7. I got 2 copies of Vista few months back for 10 quid with unused product keys. Just make sure if they are OEM versions that they are Acer OEM's.

Thanks dude. system restore doesn't work as there's no save point stored. I wiped the partitions from the basic menu system, before 'clean installing' vista via a 'Anytime Upgrade' disc, so I can actually get into windows fine now. My only problem is that I can't read all the original product key on the bottom of laptop cause it's a rubbed off in places.
Why does it have to be an Acer OEM? The use of the word 'OEM' confuses me to be honest.
Here's one that I'm looking at... --> CLICK <-- would this not do?

oh sorry guys its only for pc but i think that there are some Patches for PS3...i have pes2010 for pc but i use your ps3 pngs:lol::lol::lol::lol:

OEM's are the discs that come with a new computer so instead of being in the original box they are usually in one of those paper sleeves. If you've got Vista re-installed then it doesnt matter if its Acer or not, just look for a copy of Vista with a product key included.

so if you could make
1 white puma centre of kit
1 black puma centre of kit
1 white adidas centre of kit
1 black adidas centre of kit
1 white nike rightside of kit
1 black nike rightside of kit
1 white umbro rightside of kit
1 lotto centre of kit
these will be used on default goalkeeper kits on each team to save png spaces
eg ,all the puma sponsored national teams will have 1 black or white puma png

China, could'nt find any up to date templates lathough you don't really nedd them as their template is their flag to the left of the shirt (where you can put it in the game) and then the number on the right (again) and the adidas logo on top of the number on the home and between the number and the flag on the away so use default templates (somewhere on the site).

No problem, someone had asked for them at pesfan and I already had América done on my ps3 so it didn't take much time, the collar thing still leaves two small yellow bits but I nearly 100% sure theres no other way to it.
